Nice park, very big and amazing areas to run and to play sports. If you are into picnics highly recommend !!

Large playground with plenty of equipment! There are about 4-5 different sections of playground equipment here. One section has sand, which has diggers and buckets. There was a reasonable amount of benches and some shade. My son loved the zip line! They have a small shop that sells snacks and ice cream as well. There are no bathrooms inside the play area, but just outside the gate there is a well maintained public toilet. This play park is at the south eastern most corner of the Meadows; closest bus stop is Buccleuch Terrace.

This is an amazing place for all irrespective of age. You can play, enjoy the sun, eat your on the spot barbecue. This place has a playground for kids, tennis courts and a green park for your furry friends to run around. This place has a restroom if you are in need. Overall during sunny days a perfect place to enjoy the blue sky and green land.

Fantastic park. When you're traipsing around the city all day looking at monuments and have a tired little person, they just want to play! This park is the perfect relaxing spot. Tables, green space, ample equipment, toilets. Ticks all the boxes.

Definitely one of the best play parks in the City. Lots of different zones to play in with loads of variety in activities for different age ranges and ability levels. Some rides need attention as they aren't working properly, particularly the round about, which has little cycles attached where the children pedal to run the frame. Not one of the pedal sets was working, so children just sit there stationary unless you turn it manually. I took it upon myself to spin it for a good 10-15m as different children were coming and going.

My first time in meadows its really nice place to hang out with friends. A huge greener patch, with 2 -3 play area for kids and also good for running and cycling.

Beautifu and spacious, the perfect place to go and exercise, relax or just breath fresh air. Perfect if you have dog. Or for a barbecue with friends.
