   A great place to go and enjoy one of Edinburgh’s amazing green spaces. There are so many things I love about this place especially on the summit, the views are amazing & on a sunny day it’s a great place to stop for a picnic. The variety of birds is also amazing and I have a great fondness for the crows who follow me to the top in the hope of some peanuts. A great place for young and old alike and also one of the Edinburgh hills that tourists should not miss!

   A decent hike. The steps are challenging and it is not wheelchair accessible. The view from the top is breathtaking, with high winds. A lovely walk and incredible experience. You can walk to the Hermitage from here, as well.

   This is a great pond to take the kids to and you can feed the birds.... normally! Unfortunately there are a group of locals who seem to think this will spread bird flu so are currently stopping you from doing this. All this means is the birds have to go further afield to get their food and so increase the chance of spreading the disease. There are swans on the meadows and I now know why!

   Nice to look at Edinburgh city from this perspective on the top of hill here. For longer stay if any of my friends may come to visit Edinburgh, I would recommend them to go there, great view!

   Absolutely loved my walk here, the nature is beautiful it even has a little river. And that all in the city. It was very calm, there were many dogs but that made my walk even better! It’s definitely worth it to climb up the hill, it has a great view over the city.
