   This is the second time we bought toys from Smyths as presents with missing pieces. The children's dissapointment on Christmas day was difficult to manage. Will try to exchange it, but it's closed for Christmas time so it will take a while...

   The woman on the shop floor was helpful getting me what I wanted and took it to the till for me as I have disability issues but the young guy on the till 2nd from the end was like he didn't even wanna be there. Imagine asking if you would like your receipt when it's something electronic you're buying then asking if you want a bag to which I replied yes n then just leaving it on top of the bag at the till, asked him to put it in the bag n he couldn't even do that properly. Hope Santa's got his cards marked.

   I can without any doubt say that this is the best place to visit for quality toys with competitive price and vide variety of toys. Though, they were bit short on science and space / solar system stuff but I was happy to get Monster Jam. Thanks to wonderful staff who were very happy to help.

   Security guard in the place is rude as hell. I appreciate people doing their job but he's on a power trip. Purposely stares you down. He walked between myself and my kids and was literally 30cm away from me Swaggering past. We purchased some toys and he came up behind us at till and asked the cashier what we bought. We overheard and said "we can show you the receipt". He just stared rudely at us and walked away. Just buy online. I hate saying it but do.

   Simply the best toy store in Edinburgh for choice and price. It's nothing short of amazing. The city centre has zero choice of good toy shops so get out to the fort and go here. It's better than going online by miles.

   Good kids store! Always get that feeling how I did as a kid visiting toys r us. But now I get to take my own child. We don’t go often as I’m a charity shop queen and find second hand toys all the time. But it’s nice to go get something new on holidays or special occasions

   Massive toy store in Edinburgh Smith’s serving Edinburgh people for years, we use this place since the baby toys to Nintendo games now. Big range in store, you may order online and collect here. Staffs never smile, possibly due to the work pressure. Always crowded so hold your kids or keep an eye at all the times. I feel this place is a bit pricy.
