I wanted clout nails. No chance. A builders merchant with probably 50 tons of wood in the yard and a nail selection that the average home DIY man could better. This may sound revolutionary but try reordering BEFORE you run out. ?? I bet they don't run out of milk and coffee for the office before getting some more in. This post was a waste of time in 2025 because no one listens and no one cares. If a shelf is empty someone’s doing something wrong. END OF. Wait for it...... blame the supplier. Don't bother, that one's worn out.

Yet again I had outstanding service from the Dalry depot today (16/5/25). David Cunningham delivered my items and after telling him I had a disability, I requested he put the heavier items into the boot of my car so i could reverse up the driveway. David insisted in putting the items exactly where i wanted them to go. This made his job harder as it involved a long walk with heavy items and up a few stairs. Guys a credit to the company as are all the staff at Dalry I have dealt with. Simply the best, you just don't get this kind of personal service at large chain D.I.Y. stores.

I always find that Reddance Building supplies give the best prices. I bought £700 worth of timber plus all fixings, hangers and other materials to build a decking. The next closest competitive quote I got elsewhere was over £900 for the same materials list. I can recommend highly
