A good hotel, a bit of a walk from the station, but that's fine, since walking around the city is worthwhile. I arrived almost at midnight, the receptionist was attentive and gave all the necessary instructions, including that it was safe to drink tap water. The room was spotlessly clean, the view was splendid. It was worth it, my wife and I recommend it. Greetings from Brazil

Good value for the price and location. Check-in machines are smooth, staff are friendly, rooms are spacious, and the lighting is great. The bar is reasonably priced, and the shared coffee machine is useful since there’s no kettle in the room. Downsides: motion sensors turning lights and AC off, glass bathroom setup, and housekeeping ignoring the β€œdo not disturb” sign. Fine, but not flawless.

The location of the hotel is very good and the staff are helpful and polite. However, the hotel itself is nothing special. The rooms are not comfortable at allβ€”the bathroom is separated from the rest of the room only by a curtain, which offers no privacy. There is also no proper space to place your belongings, as there is no desk or table in the room. The breakfast could definitely be better. On the positive side, cleanliness was not an issue. Overall, don’t be too impressed by the photos.

Brilliant experience staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are really clean and tidy and modern. A few essentials are missing such has a kettle and hairdryer but that is a nitpick. The access to a gym is really handy as well if you want to start your day with a workout. The location is really good just a few minutes away From Princess Street.

We had an excellent stay in Yotel. The rooms are not big but they are comfy and warm. They were cleaning the room every day, but the cleaning service was missing some details like mold building in the shower and some stains on the carpet floor, both easily to remove but i guess they didn t care. The room was very quiet. Polite personel and quick and easy check in through a tablet. The location was fantastic, very close to the old town of Edinburgh and 5 mins from Dean Village. I would definitely recommend Yotel for your stay while u visit Edinburgh.

Would highly recommend for most, this was my second stay! Friendly staff, especially at the bar. We stayed in a first class room as there was three of us, there was more than enough space and the beds were so comfy. The TV with the LED lights was easy to use and well positioned in the room. We were able to store our bags on the checkout day for free. Unfortunately they have limited options for coeliacs at breakfast. The front desk staff nor bar staff could definitely say what the breakfast options were. Therefore we went for breakfast on the day, and they only had some gluten free bread and muffins plus the fruit. I appreciate there’s not always an abundance of gluten free options but they still wanted Β£15 for it! However, if you’re not gluten free the breakfast did look good with a wide selection and would be worth Β£15.

4.5 stars. A great place to stay, no frills, easy check-in and check-out. The bed is comfortable, and the rain shower is a bonus! However, note that this is not a hotel to spend your whole day in. It's really just a place to sleep and shower. Perfect for people who have a full schedule and plan to be out for the whole day. If you want a hotel to lounge around and work and study in, this might not be the hotel for you.

We had an amazing experience here. Customer service was super nice and very helpful, the hotel was clean and modern. The lobby had a great bar and restaurant. Room was a great size for the price, very clean, fun LED lighting, and good space and storage. Would definitely go back or look to stay at other YOTEL locations.

Great stay! The room was clean, comfortable and very cool. The bed was excellent, so was the water pressure. The location is very convenient and apart from asking to store our luggage on the morning on the day we checked out we didn't interage much with the staff because we self checked in, which is great, very efficient and you still feel you can ask for anything. The hotel was spotless. Great value for money.

Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. A/C worked great. Couldn’t hear any outside noise. Clean. Comfortable beds. Great location. Only thing that was a little downside is the size of the rooms. It was pretty small and there wasn’t really anywhere to place clothes or leave out luggage. Early check-in was not available on a Friday morning but they were able to hold our bags till later and we were still able to check in an hour early.
