The shop is great. Nice stuff, good prices. I unfortunately had a misunderstanding with the beautiful lady on the counter, which was mostly my fault, I'm sure, and which we happily sorted out, with mutual heartfelt apologies, but not before the "manager" got involved, accused me (wrongly) of having sworn at the lady at the counter (!!), and gave me a "dressing down" at the top of her voice, in front of other customers, and she "ordered"me to "leave her shop". It was wrong, and mortifying, and I've never met anyone so arrogant, assumptive and condescending. What was wrong with taking me to one side, and quietly asking me what had happened? I'm a charity shop volunteer myself, in a different city, between trips abroad, and none of us would ever DREAM of talking to someone like that. She just totally went off on one, having heard just one side of the story. I was abrupt and I hadn't meant to be, but that horrible woman berated me like a naughty child. Even my own family don't speak to me like she did. It was absolutely horrendous.

Fantastic charity shop - kitted out a bit differently to the standard - more like a trendy boutique shop and packed with top label bargains - always worth popping in as they get new items in daily and things seem to sell fast. Fantastic charity too.
