Avoid at all costs. Had a warranty “repair” carried out by WCS and I say repair in the loosest of terms. When it came to use our gas cooker and it would not ignite at all. This was due to the poor workmanship and lack of care taken by the engineer. Please see photos of pipe that should have been replaced on the first visit but wasn’t. I called on the Saturday and spoke to Andrew who was on his way out for the rugby that day and explained the issue of the cooker from the “repair” his engineer carried out he informed me he had no one available to come to me but would get someone there the next day. This cost me to close our kitchen on the Saturday and a loss of takings because of this poor workmanship carried out 5 days earlier as we only operate food on weekends this was the first instance of us realising it was not repaired correctly and was much worse than when they originally attended site as the cooker would now not light at all. At the time of the phone call there was no discussion surrounding out of hour call out charges as this fault was purely down to the incompetence of the engineer sent to us by WCS ltd so to my surprise on the 7th November I received an invoice for £321 for a invoice for a cooker they could not repair. The cooker could not be repaired on that Sunday and I was advised by the engineer on site that the complete breakdown was due to them not repairing it correctly the first time. I needed to make a further warranty claim as apparently I would be liable for further costs as the original warranty claim had now expired even though it was never properly repaired on the first warranty claim. So all in all WCS ltd has been paid 3 times for the same job and 2 out of 3 times it was not repaired at all. There was no due care taken by the first engineer and the repair not carried out to a satisfactory standard as the third and final visit where a replacement part was supplied and fitted by a different engineer and he solved the fault. I would avoid this company at all costs as it seems that whatever way possible they are out to reap as much money as possible.
