I visited Baruno for the first time today, and I’ll definitely be back! I went with my family, including my 10-year-old child, to enjoy a nice meal and celebrate my birthday. The service was excellent, and the owners were really kind and welcoming. They have a great selection of food and drinks on the menu. They even surprised me with a lovely birthday cake, candle, and song, which made the day extra special. If you’re looking for a great place to relax and enjoy quality time with your family β€” even with kids β€” I highly recommend it!

Actually quite a nice surprise from a food perspective as it was something different (South American cuisine), this is after a slightly underwhelming curb appeal. The food was good, the service was friendly and efficient and even the owner came out to greet us and talk passionately about his restaurant / bar / venue. His energy alone would be enough to make you want to go back. The atmosphere was impacted for us by the fact we were there relatively early and mid-week just after the choasof the festival. Normally this place can be packed.

Great food and drinks, awesome and fast service! Cameron is wonderful, as well as the dj, who surprised us with greek music, when he learned that we are from Greece! The hospitality was incredible!

Amazing as always with out a doubt the atmosphere is impeccable, food is amazing the flavours just explode in your mouth plenty verity of drinks to choose from, service is top notch, staff are always welcoming and happy to assist with any needs to accommodate as well as they can. Will always be my go to spot when I’m in the city.

First time visiting and it did not disappoint. The food was lovely...we had the return of the mac burger with a side of garlic bread and onion rings. Everything was lovely the chips were nice and crispy but not too crispy. The onion rings were the stand out...wow they were amazing, crispy but fluffy, sweet but salty 10/10. Drinks were cheap as well and the service was quick and friendly.

First time coming to Candy, nice decor and in a great location - very close to the Xmas market. The meal deal is great value, but the food and drink is cheap and cheerful. It is not somewhere you would go for quality cocktails and food, but it does have a good range of drinks at a cheap price. I didn’t find the staff very welcoming however, which is what affects this review for me. The first time I popped in was to try and get a walk-in table but they were fully booked. The woman working asked if we had booked and then just said β€œyou need to book” and walked away, so we were left to see ourselves out. I made sure to book for my visit today (3 days after the original walk-in) which wasn’t necessary in the end as the place was empty when we got there for 12pm. It’s clear it is a busy place for cocktails in the evening, but I didn’t realise how popular it was that booking was required for 2 people. I also went to order the loaded fries, but after the order was processed, the waitress came back to tell me that they cannot currently serve any food with oil as they have no oil for the fryer. This felt really unprofessional and seemed more of a diversion to not turn the fryer on for midday. I think it probably is a 5 star experience normally, but the service did let me down, which is a bit conflicting as there is an automatic service charge applied to the bill. I did enjoy the Picante Pizza and would recommend their Candy selection cocktails though. Just some odd choices and professionalism issues with the services.

I love this place! I’ve been a few times and will continue to come back. I was in on Friday and got the Candy Happy Meal (burger, served with regular fries but the upgrade to the sweet potato fries adds another Β£1) plus a cocktail (I got the Monster From The Blue Lagoon) for Β£8.50!! Such a great price! Scanning the QR code from the staff, my friend got a free drink at Indigo Yard! Amazing! Seriously recommend this place, it’s awesome!

The cocktails are great. Edit. I wasn’t happy at all with the serviced we received last night. When buying a drink like we have on several other occasions my daughter was asked for ID. That was no problem as they usually ask. She showed her young Scot’s card and was told that they couldn’t accept it so refused to serve her alcohol.

Lovely place. Really enjoyed a few drinks here. We didn't get food but it looked good. Drinks really well priced and the game for free drinks /discount made us stay for longer. We wanted to return during our trip but ran out of time.
