Absolutely fabulous food, I chose the liver main, it was so tender and the mash was super creamy, no faults

Sunday lunch was superb and very good value at £18.95 with cauliflower cheese. Desserts were lovely and homemade, forgot to take pics though. Lovely restaurant, nice surroundings, attentive and pleasant staff, will return.

Stopped in for coffee and to peruse the menu; only the Sunday menu today or I would've had something light. I ate here pre-covid, was very good then. Will return sometime, maybe a Saturday for something light. Will recommend to my 85 y/o friend - it's ideal for him and his wife.

Very nice ambiance. The faggots were 6/10 and the custard tart was something and nothing. The turning off the main road is again poorly signed and poorly lit. When you drive up the road the sign to the car park was ambiguous and the directional arrow sent you right. Carpark is to the left.

Be prepared to get small portions, pricey, poor quality battered fish. No one asked whether our food was on whilst we were eating. When we complained of the quality, only to be confronted by a stern waitress, who looked down her nose at us and the complaint - which made us feel uncomfortable. No discount off the food. Lovely decor and furniture etc etc but poor service, stuffy staff. We wouldn’t go back to try any other foods on the sparse very overpriced menus! Parking areas confusing. Gritty, muddy car park .. Cappuccino was in a small cup which was not topped to the brim..

Arrived 2 mins after end of breakfast so waited till lunchtime. The chef exited the kitchen and took our order as the serving staff had not taken our order as in his own words we had be waiting a while. The food was awesome, berf burger hand made, seasoned and cooked perfectly, brioche bun was fresh accompanied by delicious relish. Chocolate and orange bread pudding for dessert was amazing. Highly recommended

No comparison to pre covid days! Atmosphere and environment welcoming and comfy, staff charming and helpful but rushed off their feet because there were not enough of them! We went for our Sunday lunch. Oh so dissapointing! My wife's "medium rare" beef was done to a dark brown, and my plate of roast pork consisted of three small anaemic roast potatoes, three small florets of soggy broccoli tips, five randomly chopped pieces of carrot, a thin long sliver of bland parsnip, one and a half slices of very thin pork, and a smear of gravy. Sorry, but I have to say as I find!

The food here was delicious. The service was excellent. It was very reasonably priced too. I was hoping that the passion fruit parfait would be in their menu as seen on the website but it was replaced with a rice pudding made with almond milk. I was a little nervous about this but I shouldn't have been. It was delicious. Portion sizes were perfect too as they offer a smaller plate. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and look forward to trying their midweek menu.
