   Went to buy a Braun shaver. Waited 15 minutes at the till for them to bring it to me. Then charged me £449 for the spec model i didn't take to the till. Credited back the difference to my card for the correct model i took to the till. I'm afraid it will be Amazon from now on.

   We were in today. Ester at the Dior counter was incredibly helpful, she went out of her way to make sure that my wife was happy. A shining example of service and customer service. Give her a raise.

   It's a big store. The weird thing is that I simply couldn't find the dental care area, although I walked around for about 29 minutes. I asked a shop assistant who said she was busy but that she'd come back in 2 minutes. I waited for quite a while and went to Superdrug, which is close by. Whily looking at gift sets, my wife commented that there were no prices. I had to point out that the prices ARE there but in a tiny font. Not impressed.

   Good bargains after Xmas sales, most things are 50 to 70% Off. Clean and well stocked of medical prescription, great choices of women's/mem makeups, perfumes and for babies and kids needs. Gyle store has free parking and convenient for tram user too.

   Large store with everything you would need from a pharmacy. Went there to buy perfumes for my wife. A great range of perfumes and plenty of offers. Staff were helpful. Located in Gyle Shopping Centre which has more than adequate number of parking spaces.

   Used to love popping into Boots at the Gyle Edinburgh, however, I was deeply disappointed last week to find out there are no manned tills anymore . Queues of people waiting to do the job an employee should be doing at a self service machines. So sterile and soulless. I will be shopping at Superdrug from now on where I can have some proper human interaction and not have to behave like an unpaid Boots employee.

   Clean and tidy as usual. Lot of products for men and women. Many times you can find good deals and promotions. Huge perfumes section. The staff is generally helpful and kind. The only issue is the waiting time at the pharmacy for prescriptions and that's the reason for 4 stars on 5.
