   Today's customer service 2* This is one of my favourite shops. I shop here regularly, infact I pop into the store weekly. This morning I was so disappointed by the customer service at the till. I was returning online orders, 2 items which were damaged and another separate order. On both returns the server tried to short change me, £4.99 on the first then £49.99 on the second return. She didn't like it that I said the refund amount was incorrect. Luckily I noticed at the time, as I'm sure others wouldn't and might not be easy to rectify once you've left the shop. I will always be extra vigilant nowadays. Also, the security tag went off as I went out the door.

   I had to stop coming to this location because the workers make me extremely uncomfortable. My workplace is very close by so this is where I use to stop for home décor and books but for the past 10 months or so, the staff/security tend to follow me from section to section. At one point, I thought I had a stalker because a light haired Caucasian man with glasses who was very big started to follow me very closely in different days I’d go in (once or twice a month). He would follow me into every aisle and then go right behind me in the line too. It seems he was instructed to do this but I have no idea why. After a few visits like this, I realized he’s probably their secret shopper or something. What has been happening recently is that when the supposed manager or security guard sees me walking to the exit, they rush to meet me there in case the door beeps; even though I’m walking from paying at the till. I’ve never ever made the gate beep at the exit, I’ve placed online orders to pick up there, I’ve done normal returns there, I’ve never ever had an issue or argument with any member of staff. The only thing I could see them being curious about is my large tote bag I always carry… I have a full time job guys… yes I carry a bag to carry all my stuff. It feels like I’m being profiled and it’s made me afraid to go in so I will no longer be coming in here.

   Incredibly poor service, I called to ask a question and Julie was unbelievably rude to me on the phone. Cutting me off and not letting me get a word in edgeways and treating me like an idiot. All because I was trying to get clarification on a store policy that has been different every time I've been (dog friendly in store, carried only, etc.)

   Terrible customer service Items purchased last month, couldn't find receipt but items still in original packaging with labels and TK max price ticket still attached. Andrew (team leader) refused to exchange. Called Head Office ( lovely) who asked me to head back into store with item and they would request Andrew used discretion and allow me to exchange. He flatly refused. Way to run a store and treat customers Andrew....Go you (and apparently your ego)

   Not my sort of store, I have trouble standing, so when it comes to clothes i don't like sorting through lots of items, prefer to grab what I need and leave. But it was clean and bright, lots to browse through, clothes, gifts and household items.

   Always a pleasure to visit. Over two floors with plenty of opportunity to find a bargain. Easily located and reached within Fort Kinnaird shopping cente, which has convenient bus connections from most regions in the Lothian's.
