Two weekends in a row I have went and been followed around. First time around I was looking at the bath and body works section and a security guard came over and stared at me and my mother for ages. I’d like to state that I have bought so much stuff over the years for my home from next. Me and my mother always go on Friday or Saturday have a look around and get a costas and never have I been made to feel this way. Yesterday I go in with my friend and I had mentioned what happened the weekend previously and a young girl with purple hair who works there, comes besides us and starts pretending to smell the products beside us? Close enough she could hear our conversation. I then go up stairs as my friends got a new house and needed some bedding for her to watch us go upstairs and then follow us upstairs also… This is the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had? Due to this sadly I won’t be back. I don’t know if I look like someone or something but they had kids running around and seemingly I was more suspect. As an assistant manager in retail myself, I found this so strange. Really a shame.
My wife and I visited a few days ago, was very impressed. Served by a lady, I think she was called Lilian, VERY pleasant and helpful
Great sized store which has a home, kids, mens, women's and bath works departments. It also has a lighting department. There's a nice Costa on the second level with full glass views across the retail park. Store is always clean and tidy. Plenty parking including for disabled users. Shop is fully accessible with regular stairs, escalator and a lift for all capabilities.
Next Kirkcaldy staff are excellent they are so friendly and always willing to help. I have been shopping with Next for almost thirty years and never had a problem. There is a good range of clothing which is up to date with current trends. The quality is good and items are reasonably priced.
This is a good store which is spread over a couple of levels. Always ample parking , generally freindy service and all the usually finery you would expect from Next . It has all the departments from ladies , mens home and children with an online collection service.
Next in Kirkcaldy Retail Park is a gem of a store. Whilst a lot of goods are overpriced and, of course some are from China, it does have a lot of bargains if you take your time and look for goods. The items can be handled or sat upon, in the case of furniture/beds (obv) so you get to feel what the product is like. Clothes wise there are some lovely things but there's also some overpriced stuff. What makes it a nice place are the staff, overall I find them just a lively bunch, be that in the various shop departments or the Costa cafe. The cafe is always full so clearly the staff are doing a good job there. Will I go to the shop again, yes - maybe not to the sales as there is nothing I found of value amongst that stuff - but once they are finished then I'll be there.
Very tidy store but still too expensive compared to other clothes shops. Good range and plenty of choice if you don't mind paying the high prices. I think they need to compete more on price to attract a more varied customer base.

Good quality clothes but check the sizes first, I'd advise trying on the items before going home, fitting rooms are available, ask the assistants in the mens department as they were really helpful. I also found that although the size on the coat hook was clearly marked sometimes it didn't feel like that size after I had tried on the item, better to take the size you think you are and a size larger. There are a good range of other household items instore. There is a Costa Cafe with great staff on the upper floor.
