Male Balding Spanish worker at men’s tills replies with “sorry I don’t have my magic ball” when asked “where on the shop floor is the shirt with the matching tie that’s on the mannequin by the door?”. Be specific as not to set the staff off on a hissy fit x
I visited the ZARA Edinburgh branch today (kids section)(05/09/2025) around 3:15 PM and had a very unpleasant and discriminatory experience with one of the staff members. I made two separate purchases during the same visit. The employee was polite and friendly with white customers before me—asking them about their day, telling them about store deliveries, and even giving them a shopping bag for free. However, when it came to serving me, her attitude completely changed. She acted rude, dismissive, and even sarcastic. At one point, she looked at my phone and mockingly asked if it was really mine or someone else’s. When I asked for a bag, she told me I had to pay for it—while she had just given others a bag for free without charging them. This behavior was offensive, unprofessional, and felt discriminatory. I strongly request that ZARA investigate this incident and take appropriate action regarding this employee’s conduct.
ZARA is a beautiful store with great variety and always fresh, trendy collections.
I love this brand. Interesting new collection. Beautiful and subdued dresses. I recommend I know what I write.
What happened to Zara?. The clothes collection so bad. when the shop was on Princess Street it was so much better. Who is doing the buying ?very ugly clothes. In the man’s section.I go to Glasgow, Zara, now much better range. One star is too much.
Bought over shirt before Christmas but sadly to small and returned to change size after Christmas. Unfortunately we accidentally throw the receipt and the manager asked if we got proof of purchase by card payment and we did provided. As the shirt reduced after Christmas, the manager said we will have £20 price different on the card they gave to us after change the size. Sadly when I tried to use it, said its empty and upon checked actually the previous manager put the sale price into the card and pay it back to change the shirt and so the card its empty. I tried to complained about it by showing it to different manager on my card payment but they said without the receipt, you loose the money! What I don't understand, why need to said to us that we have the money on the card for the next purchase. We really don't mind if he didn't said that but saying something but not true just.... sad.
Not impressed with my shopping experience today. Where are the staff? The layout is copied from John Lewis to some extent. Sorry but your clothes are no longer appealing to me and the quality/price ratio is really unbalanced. No thanks....not for me.
A bustling brand new Zara shop with a large selection of items on display. They have a great range of clever and colourful designs. You also can find pretty much every style of clothing. Although the prices are very low compared to other brands, I'm giving 3 stars because the clothes feel of low quality and makes me wonder how they manage to get these prices. There is also no one around to help, the staff seem overwhelmed by people at the tills. Overall, look for a nice bargain on a new in-season design and you won't be disappointed.
