Am sorry but to spend 2 mins with our pet in here, a quick meds jag and the bill was just over Β£43. Β£38 was just to get our pet seen to. Its so unfair and for places to charge like this makes people stay away and makes our beloved pets suffer because its a bill that should not happen. Looking at Β£19 a minute !!!. Awful

One star service. Not for the vets, but for the receptionist, Laura (I believe that is her name), who tried to con me out of money, lied to the Cats Protection League about me, and spoke over me all the way through my phone call. When I registered my cat, I immediately said it was a Cats Protection cat. When my cat was neutered, she wanted to charge me full price, even though Cats Protection, at the time, were paying for it. She then, realising she could be wrong, charged me Β£20, (which I paid) as a "contribution". When contacting Cats Protection, I was told I shouldn't have paid anything and she had, in the meantime, lied to them about my not informing County Vets of the situation. I phoned, only to be talked over every step of the way and went to get my Β£20 refunded. The other receptionist said it must have been "miscommunication". No, it wasn't. It was very poor customer service. So if you want to be fleeced by Laura the receptionist (who thinks she runs County Vets), have an argument (even though you don't want one) or have lies be told about you, then she is the person to go to. I used to be with County Vets for my last pet, and had no problems at all. Needless to say, Laura wasn't on reception for them at that time. My cat is now registered with another vets and it is due only to my experience with the receptionist from hell.

I donβt usually write reviews but i feel like this is a must. County vets are the most caring, courteous and understanding vets i have EVER came across. My dog has several issues, between skin problems, severe allergies, eye issues, and in all honesty just absolutely prone to problems. He has a large medical history and every single time county vets have been absolutely brilliant to accommodate him even if we have been on a budget, they take that into consideration. He has recently went in for surgery to remove 2 different types of tumours. county vets were able to accommodate him within the week and we had expressed our anxiety about the surgery and they reassured us every step of the way. Cyrus now seems to be very well known in the clinic by all the staff who dote on him and youβd think he would be nervous to go for his appointments due to the amount of times heβs in but every time he is always so excited and desperate to go in and greet the staff which is such a green flag for us! I recommend this vetβs clinic to anyone and everyone i know. Thank you County Vets Ayr for everything and with dealing with us anxious owners! HIGHLY recommend.

This is the best Vets, I trust them 100% and they are always friendly, easy to get an appointment, and very reasonably priced. They are incredibly accommodating for my dog who gets too nervous to be in the waiting room and so we wait in the car till the Vet is ready to see us when someone comes and gets us. Most of the people I walk my dog with go here as well, we all owe our pets good health to these wonderful people.

The care the vets give is second to none. Cassie was with them from 2013 when she was diagnosed with EPI right until she went to sleep. Never anything bar friendly and helpful support. Would never go anywhere else

Diane receptionist is extremely helpful and polite. All the vets are amazing and are so helpful. They are all for the pets and take time explaining and giving reassurance to us the owner. I wouldn't go to any other vet and they look and care after my 3 working cocker spaniels.

Have been using this practice for over 12 years for our animals and have always found them to be very professional and knowledgeable they have the welfare of the animals foremost and keep the owners fully informed. And we would not go elsewhere. Emma and her team are Simply the Best

First visit. Seemed very courteous receptionist and waiting room is on the right side of the hall. A bit small if honest and difficult to see how differing types of animal could wait without increasing stress for them. ie cats and dogs - cats and rabbits etc Vet was extremely thorough both in inspection of my stressed dog and explanation of options. Would definately recommend
