   Stayed here back in May. Loved every part of this place. Tim was a great host. Showed us where we were pitching on arrival. Absolutely stunning views of the valley. Lucky enough to see deer grazing the area. Sunset was amazing, setting right over Cardiff. Toilets in the old stable block and to the remote feel of the place. Nice and clean. The track up to The Batch was quite steep and bumpy in areas, if you're concerned about your car just go slowly. We walked from here to the local shop and pub in the evening. Sadly we only stayed one night. We will certainly be back. Lovely little gem of a place. And I can't forget Compton, Tim's sweet little dog. She came and sat with us by the fire for a bit. Great company.

   Stayed at the Gurt Yurt and had the most wonderful weekend! Peaceful meadow, beautiful scenery and an ideal location. The yurt was clean and comfortable, and the attention to all the small details made it really special. Tim was a brilliant host and really goes the extra mile. Would recommend to all.

   Stayed in the yurt for two nights and it was spectacular. Beautiful views, very peaceful area, and the yurt has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We really appreciated the 'dog friendly' bedding (i.e. bed sheets that were dark and patterned rather than white). Tim was very helpful and also kind to our dog who can be fearful of strangers. He left us a bottle of prosecco and apple juice for our arrival too. I've also stayed at the campsite a couple of times and it's great too.

   Stayed in the yurt. Had an amazing time and Tim was exceptional with service. The area was so peaceful and beautiful. Couldn't recommend it more as a getaway, from busy day to day life. Definitely would comeback.

   My friends and I stayed here on the "wild camping" site for a couple of days of walking and cycling, and we had a great time. It's a steep hill to the site, but we managed it on our bicycles, and the elevation made the views that much prettier. The stables are converted into toilets with plenty of reading material, each pitch has its own fire pit, and friendly chickens approach you if they think you might have snacks. Campers are asked not to play music on speakers, which might not suit some people, but we appreciated getting back to nature. I loved lying in my tent and listening to the owls at night. Tim couldn't have been a more accommodating host; his knowledge of the local trails and pubs was really helpful. I can't wait to visit again.
