   0 stars. Rented with them 2019-2020. My curtain pole needed to be replaced, and they sent a contractor while I was at uni. He shattered my brand new TV screen by clearly smashing the curtain pole right into the middle of it. The agency denied all wrongdoing and refused any compensation, even with pictures clearly showing it working the day before and smashed after the contractor had come. Then proceeded to take money off my deposit for a binbag left in the communal hallway. It wasn’t even left by me, most likely by another flat. Absolutely AVOID AVOID AVOID. Still fuming 4 years later. I was £400 down and without a tv for a year.

The process to book appointment is fair and smooth, they answer email and follow up quickly, they called me in advance just to inform me they will be 2 minutes late. Zoe in particular went to the extra mile to help me secure an apartment. Amazing team and lovely people

   Students AVOID! Me and my housemates are having an awful experience with City Lets. We have had mould in the house since we moved in which was painted over to ‘fix’ the problem. They are withholding £240 of our deposits for cleaning which is quite laughable as we had to ask for a cleaner when we moved in as it was so disgusting. In regards to cleaning we left the house looking a lot better than we moved. I would not recommend this company to any students and there are a lot better agents out there.

   City property lets did not feel like it was their responsibility to do anything more to a property 3 weeks before a different letting agency took over! I have also lived in student houses with them before with a huge mould problem and they just blamed it on us "not opening windows when cooking". I won't be using them again and you should be careful, because they do not care about their tenants. You can see from the reviews too

   We absolutely loved our flat from city property lets. Fantastic location and a really awesome layout that made our small home really work. All the staff at CPL have always been friendly and helpful and whenever things went wrong (accidental smashed toilet or a tree growing in between the garden wall) they were quick to respond and resolve the problems. While things got very difficult during Corona they were incredible. So understanding and made our situation manageable for which we are so grateful. Not just a standard line but real human understanding which is so important when talking about the place you call home. If I rent again I wouldn't hesitate to go back to City Property Lets.

   I'm not normally one to leave reviews, but I cannot rate this letting agency enough. After some horrific letting experiences as a student, City Property Lets were a breath of fresh air- they treated me and my housemates with respect and worked hard to help us feel as home as possible in our new flat. They took any queries we had seriously and saw to everything promptly- right down to fitting us with a doorbell as per our request! Really high quality flat and professional service throughout. Restored my faith in letting agencies :) thank you!
