   Very lovely pub. When we went it was quite quiet, so didn't really need to book. The pub itself was decorated nicely and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was honestly phenomenal. Everything was incredibly tasty and reasonably priced for what you get. The drinks I found were quite expensive for being a pub and this is the only thing to slightly grumble at. Honestly I can't wait to go back and have another steak here.

   We had a family Christmas gathering at the lancaster Arms and couldn’t be more impressed! We had the private dining room and Karen really looked after us all afternoon, anything we needed she was right there and explained the whole menu process with recommendations. Karen also made sure we were each happy with everything we ordered and was so attentive we can’t thank her enough! What a brilliant member of staff she made us feel so welcome! Would definitely recommend!

   We had a private event for a family birthday. The space was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Was absolutely perfect. Easily accessible for our party. From initially contacting Sharon right through to the day the team have been amazing and very personable. The food was divine and enjoyed by everyone. I'm looking forward to going back to try the Sunday roasts!!! Thank you to Louie and the team on the day.

   Really enjoyed our Sunday roast at The Lancaster Arms. Everything tasted homemade and comforting, from the perfectly cooked beef to the rich gravy and fresh vegetables. The pub has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere that makes it ideal for a cosy Sunday meal. The service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout. It is on the pricier side for a roast, but the quality of the food and the overall experience make it well worth it. Would definitely go back

   Went here last night with two friends for my 50th birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect. Beautiful decor...we had our meal on the gin terrace...Beautiful food obviously made with care, friendly staff. We were so full we decided not to try and squeeze in a dessert and then the two lovely waitresses who had served us brought out a little plate with a tiny brownie and strawberries with a candle and sang to me. It was wonderful. I thought one of my mates must have set this up but they'd just done it off their own backs. Couldn't have wished for a more enjoyable evening. Well done The Lancaster! Will definitely be back xx

   Mothers Day to remember - Our last visit was around 20 years ago……how this place has changed. The outside space looks fabulous, a gin garden, dining pods and garden seating. The welcome inside was very warm, Sharon showed us to our table and a young lady promptly took our drinks order. The drinks menu is extensive and the service was swift. As it was Sunday, the menu was a carvery at your table. What a fabulous idea and it was delivered beautifully. A lovely choice and enough food for everyone, there are free top ups of roast potatoes and veg, as much as you can eat. We didn’t need anymore as the portions are very generous anyway. The food was delicious, everything was cooked perfectly and the service was without fault. We eat at quite a few places but this by far blows many out of the water. The staff have been expertly trained by Sharon and it shows that they feel their job is important. It made such a nice change to be served by fantastic staff who know what they are doing. We cannot rate this place highly enough, we will be back very soon. If you haven’t been here…….don’t wait any longer! You will not be disappointed. Fabulous surroundings, great staff, gorgeous food……what more could you ask for? Thank you for the best Sunday lunch ever!

   Good atmosphere and great staff Had a good Christmas dinner but very busy as expected. Lovely setup and atmosphere. Only issue was the wines were terrible and overpriced. Stick to beers and shots.

   This was the first time visiting for me and what a place!! The service is excellent and staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is just amazing. I would definitely recommend for a Sunday roast. We had the traditional board as we like different meats and its unlimited roast potatoes, vegetables and gravy. Good for a couple, family or celebration dinner.
