   We spent our Friday evening date-night at Junction 28. When we arrived, it was very busy but we were seated quickly by the friendly staff. There was an extensive menu, but we chose from the great value “festive menu”. There was plenty of choice. The food was very tasty, very well cooked and piping hot. The service was great and each member of staff was very attentive and friendly. Great value for money and another enjoyable experience at this fantastic restaurant.

   We went on a Saturday evening, two adults and two children. The service was amazing, Leighton really looked after us. The scallops as well as the baked camebert to start were amazing and the Duo of Lamb was out of this world. This is a place you need to visit, nothing is too difficult, food is amazing and the staff look aftwr you so well

   The menu is varied with good sized portions especially for Sunday Lunch. A 10% service charge is automatically added to your bill so be aware of this. If you want a cheap meal then this maybe not the place to go, but check their online menu. Tables are well spaced out with plenty of room between them and the chairs we had were very comfortable.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch, and everything was truly exceptional. I have nothing but positive remarks to share, and I was so impressed that I requested a business card to leave a review and share my delightful experience with you all. The service was outstanding. All three courses were remarkable. The prices were quite reasonable. The high standards of service and quality were consistently maintained. We had the pleasure of being served by several staff members, all of whom were wonderful. They were incredibly accommodating and attentive to our needs. If you have any specific requests, they are more than happy to assist. The front-of-house staff made us feel incredibly special and valued as customers. We certainly plan to return. Lastly, and importantly, every course offered excellent value and was incredibly fresh! The portions were generous, with a substantial amount of meat on both our plates. The Yorkshire pudding was exceptional, and the desserts were impressively large! We both left feeling very satisfied! Junction 28 is highly recommended, so if you are considering a visit, I encourage you to do so!

   A visit to Junction 28 in Bassaleg is like revisiting an old friend, nothing ever seems to change much. This was our first visit since before lockdown, we had a really enjoyable lunch and it was nice to see additional vegetarian choices on the menu. The service as always was attentive and the food was beautifully.

   Enjoyed a 'nice' meal with friendly service - been some time since our last visit. With a little polish, could be so much better. The cooking lacks flair and things like chips were a little greasy. Battered cod had too much thick & heavy batter although the fish inside was OK. My venison steak was nice but lacked seasoning and flavour. The truffle promised in the gratin was very muted. Lemon tart should be singing with bright lemon but again was bland. A good venue for a family meal or with children. comfortable and friendly.
