My Mum and I came to The White Horse for lunch and as a much needed pick-me-up and oh my goodness it was exactly what we needed! The waiters were lovely and the Managers are so warm, welcoming and caring. Our hot drinks were top quality and stayed hot for ages so we could enjoy them at a steady pace as we ate. I went for the vegan chicken burger and it really hit the spot and is probably one of the tastiest meat-free burgers I've ever had! We inhaled the generous portion of skin-on fries which came already perfectly seasoned. We felt really relaxed and will without a doubt be back again to hopefully order a pud' too! Definitely recommend this pub to anyone wanting lovely food and a warm and relaxing atmosphere!

Visited after a day out at the National Space Centre. The setting was lovely and the food was good, but most importantly the service was excellent and the staff were all so friendly. There was a kids Halloween party taking place - the owner invited my daughter to join in free of charge. Upon leaving, our car broke down in the car park. Charlotte was really understanding and accommodating about us leaving the car overnight and getting it sorted the next morning. We popped in again for coffees while we waited for our rescue service and received ed another warm welcome.

We visited The White Horse in Syston with three generations of the family — and even the dog — and had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were genuinely friendly, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I had the baked Camembert tart followed by a cheesecake, and both were absolutely fantastic — beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and full of flavour. Everyone at the table was happy with their meals, and the dog was made to feel just as welcome as the rest of us. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a place that works just as well for families as it does for a relaxed evening out.

Stumbled upon this pub on one of our Sunday runs. Got really excited to get something to eat when we got there but there were already too many people who ordered (what I assume to be) really good pub food!!! Really gutted that we weren't able to try them out but the nice man behind the counter (forgot his name sorry) explained how the kitchen was overwhelmed and told us they won't be back taking orders until about an hour so we got the crispiest bottle of Coke instead which was a 10/10. Hence, food rating is pending but everything else was fine. Will be back to try their food soon though!

Food was unpleasant to say the least. The mushroom risotto looked like it went through the meat grinder before it got to the plates. Tasted like pure griddle grease (no offence). Salad was fine, at least they got one thing right. Chips fine. Other than that, disgusting.

We found this place by accident whilst we had time to spare waiting to collect our kids from adventure camp. This canal side little pub did not disappoint. Although a small menu it has great gastro pub vibes and the most fabulous Sunday roast. Very welcoming and accommodating staff and great beer garden with small play area. Would certainly return.

Great pub with outside seating with designated NO Smoking Tables. It's has a small play area with tables for when you want to eat drink and watch your kids scream while ignoring them. Food was good and came fairly quickly. The Sunday menu isn't huge but has a varied selection so should suit all tastes.

Lovely place just next to the Watermead Park. Very good food. Nice place, inside and outside. Friendly staff. Good value for money.

My husband and I went for a hike and came across this pub at the end. The atmosphere was cozy and warm and the platter we ordered was perfect. I am definitely coming back again to try the steak. 2 things I really appreciated were that They allow dogs inside which I found perfect and had partitions between the tables
