   Small store, doesn't stock everything compared to other sports direct stores. changing rooms > 2 only and 1 of them is a disabled one.. the one I went into was a small box type and no bench or seating.. staff were ok and helpfull

   I went to order something on line to be delivered to store, until I realised there was a £4.99 delivery fee. I’ve never known any other company charge delivery to store, as always free. So I ordered the same item from another shop and got the free delivery and saved £4.99. So because of the delivery charge, you lost out on £39. And I’m sure there are lots of others that refuse to pay it too!

   Unfortunately the reviews of Sports Direct Cannon Park turn out to be spot on. I tried to call the store before visiting to check if they had the item in stock. Numerous attempts promptly disconnected. Arrived at the store, found what I needed on display. Apparently, only the manager is allowed to manage and serve customers wanting to buy shoes. Not sure if this is just a Sunday policy but I'm guessing he'd be pretty run ragged by the end of the day. He retrieved the shoes from the store room and put them by the till. Given the store return policy - no refunds, credit note or exchange only - I asked if I could check them. As it turned out, the leather had some conspicuous spots of dye on the front so I asked if I could have a different pair. You'd think I'd asked for the assistant's first born! I was told I'd have to take the shoes to the manager at the front of the store, presumably so that he could walk them back up the length of the store to the stock room. The manager refused to come back to the till point so I was left standing. I left with my £60 firmly in my pocket. I actually feel quite sorry for the individuals working in this store. No empowerment, miserable as sin, no doubt under-paid and over-worked AND, if they've read the reviews for their store might be feeling a tad dispondent and under-valued but, my goodness, improvement desperately needed. Won't be returning.

   Experienced what I can only figure to be racism. I came into the store, checked the price of some shoes, and then left. It was claimed that I was "detagging some shoes" but when I went to confront them with Cannon Park security, there was nothing that could back up their claims, and it became clear to Cannon Park security that they were baseless accusations.

   Went in to buy some jogging bottoms and I had a tescos trolley with me. I was politely told no trolleys madam in the store. There was hardly any customers and plenty of room for the trolley. So I had to go out and I will buy the jogging bottoms elsewhere. Other stores in cannon Park allow trolleys. So they lost a big sale and called me madam which I detest being called.

   Well clearly I'm not the first receive poor customer service. Called in for some running trousers. Firstly all the assistants seemed more engrossed in their phones and when I did ask one of them where the trousers were he seemed less than happy to show me. In the end I left ad the selection was poor with only trousers for £32 which was twice what I could pay for a brand I know in decathlon. Well done and loosing a sale

   When I asked a member of staff if I could purchase a pair off sports shoes, the look I got was as if I had asked them to crawl to London on glass. What the mumbling was about I haven't got a clue. Another staff member actually took interest and got my shoes. But I had to go to misery to pay for them, she was so put out. I have purchased here many times before and staff were helpful. If this person hates it there.....go home and be miserable.
