On New Year’s Eve, the store manager made it abundantly clear that helping customers was an optional activity she had no intention of participating in. Any attempt to find a solution was met with disinterest and a dismissive attitude, as though doing her job was an unreasonable inconvenience. The interaction felt less like customer service and more like a lesson in how little effort one can put in while still holding a position of authority. Holidays may be busy, but professionalism and basic respect shouldn’t be seasonal. Hopefully this experience encourages some reflection on what customer service is actually supposed to look like. Let’s hope she learns how to show customers respect in future, although a degree isn’t needed for it, not that she’d ever get in to a university to begin with.

We went to Currys Cwmbran to pick up a washing machine we had bought online. It was purchased as a house warming gift for our daughter and her partner as they had bought their first house. The online process wasn't very helpful as their nearest store did not have it in stock, and Currys don't deliver to stores. But Cwmbran had it in stock. The staff were excellent. Within a few minutes they had brought out the machine and kindly loaded it into our car. And this was on the Saturday before Christmas. They were an excellent advert for Currys.

Went in to buy a TV. Corey was serving us and his customer service was second to none. He was helpful, friendly and a genuine person. It really seemed like he knew what he was talking about and wanted us to get the best for our money.

I dealt with two male members of staff today on the customer service desk I’m sorry that I didn’t take their names. I was returning an iron which was broken. Both were so helpful and polite. I was advised of what they could do for me and I left with a new iron and customer satisfaction.

Stood around waiting to be seen as needed product based advice. Asked for assistance a few times to be told that they'd be over in a second. Eventually, someone could be bothered to help. PC World/Curry's have a monopoly on electronic goods when it comes to in person in store purchases which I think makes them lazy with sales. Yes there is Amazon but sometimes I want to speak to someone who knows what they're talking about and ask what is best, what suits my needs, what will do the job I require which you can't get from Amazon.

What a waste of time! Ordered on line, went to store to pick up and filled in the details to have it brought to the car!! I am disabled.....did that work? No it didn't. After the app told me I was 3rd in the queue, I waited, and waited. 25 minutes later, struggled into the store only to have to reiterate all the details I gave online half hour ago. Shocking waste of time and energy, I'll go elsewhere in future!!!

Needed a new laptop after the old one finally gave up. Sort of knew what I wanted. But got some great support and advice from Lee, who listened carefully to my needs and was very knowledgable, helpful, patient and efficient in getting a good package for my requirements. Great service. Looking forward to many happy hours using my new laptop.
