    I stayed at this hotel back in May with family whilst visiting other family members near by. On the first night of our 3 night stay, there were 2 parties going on, one of which was right next to our room. At 11 o'clock we went to bed and the music was unbearably loud. We rang the reception to see what time the party was finishing. We were informed that the party would finish at 11:30 which we thought was reasonable. 11:30 came and went and the music hadn't stopped so we rang reception again. We were informed that the party would stop and someone would go and see what was happening. At gone 12 o'clock the music was louder than ever so I had no choice but to go down to reception. I was informed that they had tried to stop the party but they had no control over the party. I asked if we could move rooms to a quieter area of the hotel but they informed us that the hotel was full! The party eventually finished at about 2:30 and we finally managed to get to sleep. After our stay i contacted the hotel and agreed a £150 refund for the inconvenience. After many emails back and forth for the last 6 months, I still haven't received payment and they have now stopped replying to my emails! I've had no choice but to leave this review! On top of the loud party, the breakfast was awful and the state of the hotel was more 1 star than 3! I would avoid at all costs and would not return to this hotel ever again due to the lack of integrity of the hotel management.

    AVOID AVOID AVOID Very disappointing experience from start to finish. Upon arrival was asked to pay a pre-auth charge of £50 to cover any damage to or theft from the room which I refused to do. (Do not pay this, do not offer an explanation, they will not refuse admission.) The car parking for guests is also chargeable at £4 per night. (Pay in cash and get a receipt otherwise they will use the card details to pre-auth the £50.) Was told dinner service begins at 6pm only to discover shortly after that time that the restaurant would not be opening because of staff shortages. The bar pumps were also not working. The bedroom drawers were found to contain what appeared to be soiled men's underwear left by a previous guest. When I informed the receptionist they expected me to retain the room anyway. I had to insist to be moved to another room given that I had little confidence now in the cleaning standards. On checkout I asked only for a cup of coffee to be told it would be £15 as that is the breakfast cost whether it was just hot drink or food too. Thoroughly disinterested staff.

    Booked into Tong Park Hotel… then booked straight out! I arrived at Tong Park Hotel at 2pm to find the reception staff eating their sandwiches at the front desk. From the moment I checked in, things went downhill. I was asked to pay £4 for parking—even though the hotel advertises free parking—and then told about an unadvertised £50 “damage deposit,” supposedly because they’ve had items stolen. The first room I was given was next to two others where people were having extremely loud sex. I’m broad-minded, but the noise was so excessive it was genuinely disturbing. I was offered two more rooms, but all three smelled of damp mixed with cheap disinfectant. The wallpaper was peeling, there was mould visible in multiple areas, and the overall condition felt neglected and unclean. When I decided enough was enough and checked out, the staff casually mentioned that the “ladies” in the rooms next to mine (the ones involved in the loud activities) had just checked out—despite checkout being at 12pm and it now being 3:30pm. I’ll leave the implications of that to your imagination. Overall, an extremely unpleasant experience. I left within hours. Please note that many of the highly positive, well-worded 5-star reviews may not be genuine and could have been influenced or pressured.

    We booked three rooms here and it was lovely. We had very good service from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again. We had a lovely young lady called Tamika serve us at breakfast and she made sure all our needs were met and the food was always topped up. You definitely are an asset to the hotel keep up the good work. Overall the hotel was very clean.

    I attended a great event at this location recently. The staff and management provided excellent customer service. I had an unforseable problem with my room, which was dealt with promptly and professionally, and I was not inconvenienced at all. A big thank you to Ali, Dave, Emma and Gavin who made my stay an above average experience. I would happily stay here again.

    I booked this hotel for a night away on business. Being a regular traveler I was impressed with the hotel, the owners are spending a lot of money refurbishing the bedrooms and comunal areas. Reception staff were very professional, recently refurbished bedroom was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Although the bar wasn't open, I had a lovely curry in the restaurant Slept well and checkout was again very professional. I will definitely book this hotel again when I am in the area on business.

    Room was nice, bed comfy and bathroom facilities were good. Found out on arrival that bar and restaurant were closed, not something we were made aware of when we booked. Breakfast selection was pretty poor and not great quality. I've had far better hotel breakfasts. So if you need somewhere to just lay your head and nothing else, this hotel is just fine but there are cheaper hotels nearby.

    Absolute disgrace. Taking people's money for weddings and now they have been taken over for migrants and cancelled weddings they haven't got the decency to refund the deposits in a timely manner.staff at management level are rude and a disgrace

    Me and my Partner put a deposit down at this hotel for our wedding. We got information they were housing migrants and that there wouldn't be any room for our guests. We decided to cancel having our wedding here and to get our deposit back. This is when the fun and games started. Email after email to the General manager of this hotel and still not had any correspondence from neither the hotel about our deposit or from the general manager. The customer service from this hotel is beyond a joke. They were quick enough to take our deposit but to refund it they are making excuse after excuse. We will be taking things further if we don't get our deposit back.
