Went in on a Monday afternoon. Waited. And waited. Apparently they have no bar staff. Left in the end. Utter travesty of a pub. Never again.

We had been out walking yesterday and we popped in here for a drink and ended up staying all night. The outside area is great and pretty at night with the lights. The drinks are reasonably priced and good. We met lots of people we hadn't seen for a long time and had a really fab evening and even though this is not in our area, it is definitely going to be our "go to" pub. Really good music and atmosphere and a fabulous, fun and welcoming new Landlady called Andrea. We will be back!

Popped in for a drink and a bite to eat with family. Staff very friendly and welcoming, which gave the pub a nice relaxed atmosphere. A good selection of home-made traditional pub grub, very tasty and good price. Would highly recommend and we will eat here again.

Why is it advertising the old menu which the food was really good.Called in yesterday poor menu, dry tasteless food, even frozen chips hard. Feel sorry for the staff, I've been going there on a Friday for a long time and have always thought they where happy friendly, but yesterday noticed a big difference, complained about food, but nothing done about it, should of left when 2 people next to us complained before we ordered. Won't be going again which is a shame, was a nice local pub

My opinions ★★★★☆
I recently went here for a work lunch, friendly staff and good service throughout, the food was nice and reasonably priced. Only thing that could of been better is if the hot beef and onion sandwiches were cooked in the gravy. But it was all still good

Love the Croppers. It's exactly what you'd hope from a pub - decent beer, good unpretentious food and a warm but fresh ambience. It's almost a pity I live nearby because I'd quite like to stay here overnight. I bet they do a great breakfast (residents only!)

Fantastic food and the best service every time I've been to The Croppers for an evening meal. Always piping hot. Well worth a visit on a cold winters evening for the Steak and Ale Pie or an afternoon beer in the sunshine at the rear. Highly recommended.
