Very unkind driver, very rude, said the sofa could not fit, even without trying, I gave him an alternative to use the back, said he ain’t getting his shoes muddy. (There’s no mud behind there). He kept cursing as he brought the small one in. Left it upside down and walked out, the other requested I help him do it, that would be my last ever buying anything from there. If you don’t like the job, please don’t do it!

Contacted British Heart Foundation Coventry on Monday and they collected on Wednesday Morning. I had a lot of furniture, sofa, armchair, clothes, bedding, bed, washing machine etc, all in very good condition and all labelled with the fire safety notice. The delivery drivers took everything, only looked for the fire safety notices on the sofa chair and bed/mattress, they didn't mess about like others have mentioned. They were very friendly and moved everything with care. A brilliant service 10/10, they empty a house for nothing with the added bonus of helping a well deserved charity.

Prices are absolutely insane for most of the items, an office chair that looked like it has been washed with paint stripper for £20? The majority of the stock is flat pack veneer which would be fine if it wasn’t priced as if it was new but will all the wear and tear you’d expect second hand. No shock the stock barely moves when you can buy the same stuff new for the same prices

Whenever I’m in town I have a little look in this store but I honestly find it quite expensive for some of the 2nd hand furniture . You can buy new for less online elsewhere so as much as I want to pay money for charity I’m often out priced. For people with very little money & in need of items , this is probably not the best place to go. Not had any issues with staff though so an extra star there.

We bought these items from British heart, Lower Precinct, Coventry about 8-9 months before. Before I made the payment I asked the representatives whether the driver's can bring the wardrobe to the first floor. They said we don't need to worry the delivery drivers will take care of everything. And we trust those words and paid the amount. When they delivered the items the drivers refused to take it to first floor and kept the table and wardrobe outside the door. Later myself and my wife had to take it to first floor after a struggle. Now I have to move to a new location. I have approached the British heart again and said we wanted to donate these furnitures back. They have scheduled an appointment today and drivers came on time. But these drivers refused to take those furnitures back. Especially the wardrobe as the drivers need to put a bit effort to take it out. These drivers are very lazy. They don't work hard to move items. It was really disappointing. They don't even put a small effort to take these out. Guys please don't trust about the delivery when you go to buy some furnitures from British heart.

The staff is extremely incompetent and disrespectful! They gave the item I bought to someone else and caused it to be stolen. The female employee on the phone never helps and keeps hanging up the phone in my face multiple times. Such employees tarnish the name of the organization.

Some really good deals to be had. Sells new and second hand stuff at a range of prices. Very happy with my table and the staff were very helpful when loading it into my car

I went into the shop a couple of times This man followed me around as if I was going to steal a piece of furniture I find some of the staff unhelpful abrupt and rude !!! Most of the furniture is expensive . You can buy new for that price . I am not sure if the workers are volunteering or paid for working there . They certainly need to promote their customer service skills Such as good morning thank you for visiting the store etc etc . Greet customers with a smile rather than a frown

I've had good experiences purchasing goods from BHF, but less good experiences with donating goods. For example, I postponed the move-out date from my former flat because BHF could only collect on certain days. When they arrived, I was told that my large dining table wasn't in saleable condition (despite purchasing it from a charity shop 4 years ago and no change to the condition), and they would not take it. Unfortunately, this meant I had to find someone else to take it that same day, costing me £95 in the end, when I could have spent the time waiting for their pickup date selling the table! So much for altruism.

Putting a call through to this organization is a hassle. No matter how many times you try, they will never pick. Besides from previous reviews, looks like the excuse " our driver is sick" is the common one. They need to do better
