   Bought a electric recliner sofa, had it delivered, 24hrs later one side stopped working, got them to come and look at it, they disconnected the wires and put them back and it worked. In the space of a week this happened 3 times. I was told it works despite it stopping and starting and then inferred I was doing something to it to stop it working. Never been so gas lighted from something I haven't done. Now they're trying to insinuate I've just changed my mind. I'm disabled and a recliner helps my pain relief so why would I sabotage myself. So now not only am I out of pocket, I'm stuck with something that doesn't work properly and all I get from Emmaus is narcissistic behaviour , helping the homeless at all costs.

   I was treated like a abused woman. Totally growled at by a 60 year old bearded guy. Assistant, knew nothing about coventry a foreign national. The prices were ridiculous ie 120.00 fr a single bed. I was ignored and totally gas lighted. I left really upset and quite shocked. This has happened 3 times.

   Had two men come to collect furniture from my mums house. They were really nice guys, very chatty and upfront about there past problems and how they have been helped. They were very professional and respectful when moving the furniture. I'm glad that the furniture is going to a good cause. Thankyou guys for today, il definitely be recommending emmaus .

   I visit Emmaus so for the first time, and wish I had been sooner. The guys in the shop where do helpful and friendly and chatty with my young children. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Arranged delivery for the large items, I took the smaller ones, and left very happy. Thank you for all you do.

   Great shop which supports an even greater cause. I've bought various pieces of furniture (older wooden furniture which is often of better quality than new), a good quality sofa and other bits and pieces from there. Always plenty of choice and very helpful staff.

   Very nice people indeed. Bought sofa on line and they kept it to one side in clean, safe storage in readiness for collection. Travelled 110 miles to Emmaus and upon arrival was offered a cuppa and had a pleasant chat. Sofa placed in van for me-thank you very much! George
