   Stayed at the Woodman over 20 times and we have never been disappointed. The staff are extremely helpful, polite and attentive. We always feel so welcome. Jordan the General Manager and Ben the Bar Manger always go out of their way to have a catch up. The whole team are great! Evening meal was fantastic, Breakfast lovely and overall great atmosphere.

   If I was going to pick my perfect accommodation for a stay away from home it would be the Woodman Inn. Stunning locstion, high quality accommodation (beautiful rooms, cosy feel, loved the separate front door. Felt like my own country cottage for the night). Great service, delicious breakfast. Can't fault it at all. I'm returning next week and looking forward to have dinner there and a walk around the area!

   We went to the woodman inn for some lovely evening food on Saturday and what a wonderful little pub it is. We were served by the friendly Olivia who took time to explain about the deals that the woodman have on during weekdays despite it being a busy environment she was very friendly and professional. The service was quick and the food was exceptional. A great location with accessible parking. We will definitely be returning! A lovely place to dine in an authentic country pub. Can’t recommend enough!

   Superb overnight stay . Perfect from start to finish. The staff were so friendly & welcoming and are a true asset to the place . We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday lunch on the evening offer with the wine . Everything was tasty, well presented and of an excellent quality. The bedroom had tasteful decor with a country feel . It was spotlessly clean and was an appropriate temperature for a great night's sleep. Breakfast the following morning was hearty and again all products were of excellent quality . We will definitely return again when in the area as the whole experience was perfect .

   Had an absolutely wonderful stay recently. We were allocated the Richmond Suite which is a terraced cottage with sitting room, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. It was perfect for our stay. The Inn instelf is really traditional and welcoming. Had a lovely family night whilst we were staying. Breakfast was fantastic and all the staff were friendly and welcoming too. We will definitely be back again and would highly recommend staying here

   Warm homely atmosphere in a nice location. We sat near the log fire which was lovely on an icy day. We came for a small celebratory lunch as we had gotten engaged that morning! We were met with friendly staff and lovely food. Would come again. Thank you

   Stayed here and ate here last night. The rooms are a good size and guests are made to feel extremely welcome, even the four legged ones. The food is superb, good size portions and extremely tasty. I'd definitely recommend the Yorkshire scotch egg as a starter.

   Lovely pub in a lovely location. Sunday lunch is £27 for two courses. We didn't bother because we only wanted something light. It's more of a 'destination pub' than a regular local. They have some high end accommodation and they do weddings, so definitely a place to go to for a treat. Dog friendly.
