I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely arranged. The staff were polite and always ready to help. The location made it easy to move around the city. Overall, a great experience.

My wife and I stayed overnight at the Malmaison in London last Sunday. She became very ill the morning we were checking out. The staff - especially Blessing - were spectacular. She was kind and understanding allowing us to extend our checkout time. Thankfully, my wife was able to recover enough for us to leave later in day. Forever grateful for the support and generosity we received. The hotel and our room were lovely. It is in an excellent location in London as well - very convenient with the Elisabeth line tube station a short distance away and you’re spoiled for choice regarding eateries, bakeries and coffee shops. We will definitely be returning!

Above and beyond! A huge thank you to Victor and Blessing. My husband and I stayed at the Mal in London on a Sunday evening before the Christmas holiday. The room was lovely and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, I became quite ill early on Monday morning when we were to check out. We were offered a very late check out to accommodate our needs and assured we could stay in the room another night if I was unable to travel. Luckily, I was able to travel by 2:00 pm. The excellent service and kind words that Blessing and Victor offered us made a very challenging situation much easier. The location was fabulous, only a few minutes walk from the Elizabeth Line. The area is especially peaceful at night. Our room overlooked the Charterhouse. Everything you might need including coffee shops and restaurants are only a short walk from the Square. We will definitely return to this Malmaison!

We had a lunch for 26 people at the Barbican Malmaison brasserie. Excellent service from Ahmed and Violetta, who looked after us personally and very efficiently throughout and couldn’t do enough for us to make out occasion smooth and enjoyable. The food was excellent and everyone was pleased with the venue. Many thanks to all involved.

Wonderful! Everything was perfect. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean. Staff is nice. Location is central, well connected with the subway and reasonable distance from main touristic sites. The restaurant of the hotel is also great.

One night stay for business and overall very pleased. I didn’t have food at the hotel so only reviewing the room. Pros: - Excellent reception staff, very friendly and helpful - Spotlessly clean room, good temperature, small but nicely decorated, comfortable bed -Nice bathroom with lovely toiletries. I appreciated the eco theme of the room as large refillable bottles are provided instead of single use plastic bottles. This also means no slippers, bathrobe, toothpaste etc. so make sure to bring your own. Cons: - relatively thin walls so you can expect some noise especially if you are near the stairs or lifts. However the hotel appears to be a refurbished listed building so any similar hotels would have the same problem.

We booked the signature suite, this was an excellent space, breakfast was good and the location was superb for what we needed. Only 2 stops from kings cross and the theatre area. Staff were helpful and polite. This is certainly our ‘go-to’ place to stay in Londonx

Edit: since my initial stay I was offered a free night by Maria the manager of the hotel. Based on my experience I will upgrade my review to 3 stars. Victor, who worked on the front desk was a perfect example of exemplary service and is certainly a credit to the company. Polite, courteous and friendly. I stayed in one of the larger rooms which was nice, I believe a lot of the rooms are being upgraded at the moment. Shower was lovely but things like phone charger sockets etc are in an awkward place when you want them by the bed. Tried to pay for late checkout but was told it’s unavailable at the moment due to a fully booked hotel (I was staying mid week so didn’t think it would be that busy) and staffing issues which isn’t the hotel’s fault I suppose, but it would have been great to have late checkout as I was having a very late night. What could have been a nice stay was marred from utterly terrible service from the front of house/duty manager. Lodged a complaint via the website, which was then dealt with (terribly, may I add) by said front of house manager. I wish to speak with someone in charge at Malmaison HQ about this but there doesn't seem to be any way to contact. I have never received such appalling treatment, this person should not be working in hospitality full stop, let alone in a customer facing role. Malmaison has gone downhill in recent years, and if the service from the front of house manager at this hotel is anything to go by, that will be why.

Great hotel. Lovely rooms. We booked Club deluxe and there was plenty of space Breakfast lovely and great service from the team there. Room would have been 5* but for the shower. Great bed. Nice temperature. TV with good channels, chiller for the essentials. But the shower ... The hand held part was ok. Great pressure and temperature but couldn't be clipped up high. I guess that's because you were supposed to use the rain head. But that had next to no water and erratic temperature. When we stay in London again, Malmaison will be on our list. And so will their Hotels around the country

I’ve stayed here now twice for business trips. The only plus is that is a very short walk to the venue my company uses. That’s it though. First time the A/C was broken. I didn’t sleep the entire time. Now my second trip. No hot water in the morning. Restaurant is very limited Very dim lighting in the rooms, terrible for putting on make up. Sinks are so small impossible to wash your face at night without getting soaked. Don’t provide body lotion or conditioner. Super limited in amenities.
