Room space was just right. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was tasty and value for money. The hotels location is spot on with an easy walk to Millennium Bridge and St Paul’s or Borough Markets or the Tate Modern or the London Eye etc. Everything is within a 20 min walk. Taxis are always driving past and food stores are minutes away. The lounge area is sizeable and the restaurant has a good varied menu. It’s a great central place to stay in London.

Stayed 3 nights here. It was our first trip to UK from Australia and chose this hotel thinking it would be good value for money. It wasn’t really close to any touristy spots, except for Tower Bridge which was about 15 mins walk. Getting to the closest public transport would be a 10-min walk. I booked through All Accor, having a “privileged” status. However, when we checked in, it didn’t seem like that. The hotel receptionist wasn’t friendly at all, and didn’t even seem to try. There were no upgrades (as part of my membership) and the only welcome kit they provided was a soggy meringue that seemed to be sitting there for a while. Housekeeping didn’t bother changing the cups and glasses we used, despite it being dirty. At one point, they just turned the glasses upside down — it still had juice in it and marked the glass and paper coasters. The hotel was quite dated. There were minimal sockets in the room, we had to unplug the phone just to charge our gadgets. The cooling/heating system was disappointing, we were sweating in the room on winter nights. We had to open the windows, but there was construction during the day.

The hotel is nice, the location is decent but there is issues. On the day of arrival our room wasn’t given before exactly 3pm. The lady at the desk refused to give us the key before that time even if it was ready. She also refused to warm the baby food, invoking safety reason. The room was decent, bathtub with a big dent and a shower head leaking. The temperature in the room was 25 and the air way to dry, we had to open the window to be able to breath. Of course the thermostat wasn’t working. Baby cot wasn’t made by the cleaning staff, we had to ask for towels everyday because the cleaning staff was taking the towel for the kid and not returning it. Breakfast was really nice but nobody showed us anything on our first day. Overall the hotel is okay but some of staff needs to step up as they bring the entire stay down.

Soft winter light and the quiet streets around Southwark made this stay particularly pleasant. The hotel sits in an excellent location, with cafés, restaurants and grocery options nearby and easy access to Tate Modern, Borough Market and the riverside path — a practical base for exploring London during colder months. The interior feels warm and well-maintained, and the team at reception is consistently helpful, making check-in smooth even at busy times. Breakfast is one of the highlights: a well-presented selection with fresh juices, eggs, toast and light salads, served in a comfortable dining area. The atmosphere is relaxed, which works well for travelling with family. Rooms are compact but functional, with good heating and everything needed for a short city stay. Transport links are reliable, and the neighbourhood remains lively without being overwhelming. A solid choice for those who want comfort, convenience and a dependable experience in central London.

Amazing Hotel, stayed one night. Great service, from the start to end. Dinner venues very Cousy, with outstanding service. Room very clean and comfortable bed, love the fairy showers, smoothing and soft. Breakfast deal it’s amazing, a little morning buffet where we can find a bit all you can eat. There is a water dispenser outside where we can fill our bottles, great idea. Silence and sleeping night for middle of Bankside location. Also great tourism attraction within one mile from it, Tate, Shakespeare Theatre, Borough market, George Inn the oldest gallery inn the world. And more…

A very pleasant hotel located a 10 minute walk from two underground train stations which can be used to access Central London. Rooms are very comfortable and slightly larger than some other city hotels. Rooms are decorated in a cozy style and bathroom was fresh and new. There is a spacious foyer area to sit and relax on the ground floor or have a drink from the bar. There is also a restaurant serving mainly Italian themed dishes. The local area offers many choices of restaurants, bars and fast food. Reception staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful, and efficient. The hotel is very close to the Tate Modern (gallery) and the river. I would certainly use this hotel again.

Mercure London Bridge is centrally located and just a stone throw from both Tate Modern and The Shard as well as the Southwark Cathedral. From the location you’re able to access all touristic places in London as the location is also within a walking distance to St. Paul’s, the Parliaments, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Square, if you like walking or cycling like myself. All these places will take less than 30 minutes to walk to but there are also good transport connections as well as bike connections. Regarding the hotel management, I am very pleased with the staff. They’re courteous, polite, welcoming and always on call to help customers. The food are delicious and well within the standard I expected. I highly recommend the hotel!

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This web site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be let down. We are very happy about our stay there! The whole team was always extremely friendly, the breakfast absolutely delicious and the room very clean! There’s absolutely nothing we can criticize. Thanks for the nice time! :)

Booked as part of weekend break and very impressed with the quality of hotel. Although not close to tube station the hotel is in a great location. Staff were polite and very helpful. Evening meals were great. Breakfast was buffet and as per normal not very warm. Rooms although not large had all the amenities you needed and shower was great.
