We had a great time water skiing earlier this week - we were a group of 4 with varying levels of experience and they were super encouraging and gave some helpful tips! Thanks so much for having us, we’ll be back!

Wonderful venue for swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, water skiing and wake boarding. Chris and Elle are really friendly and welcoming, as well as knowledgeable about the activities they provide. All their staff are just as knowledgeable and friendly. Really lovely place to visit whatever the weather. Highly recommend!

Great water ski experience with Chris. A friendly laid back atmosphere, with a terrific pro shop on site. North/South lake orientation means the lake is usually sheltered from the usual westerly winds, so flat water is pretty much guaranteed. Chris is a great coach, and is genuinely interested in improving your ability, whether you're a beginner or seasoned pro. Highly recommend visiting here, you'll have a great time.

I've had several lessons with Chris now and I love his coaching style. I always leave really buoyed up about my wakeboarding and knowing that I can easily practice what I've learnt. I feel very safe in Chris's hands and would strongly recommend his coaching to anyone, beginners and improvers alike. He and Elle have got a great setup in Burghfield and I couldn't be happier that they're now just up the road from me!

Great coach for all levels, even for an old lapsed skier. The passion he puts into this sport is one that we haven't seen since the days of great british skiers (even though he's a kiwi). This new venture is something to behold - it's a great lake; JB will tell you that. Many great names have skied here and this, in my opinion, is what the sport needs - a coach like Chris and a lake like this to get this sport back on the map. What could be better than having a residential ski club - ski, hotel, bar: it's near on perfect. As for Chris' coaching style; I've never met a more passionate and intricate coach than him, he really does see the tiny details that help you improve. I was taught by a great but non-qualified coach when I was 16 and probably learnt a few bad habits and took many years off the sport, but Chris got me up and running in no time, constantly telling me what I should improve rather than towing me along for cash. I would definitely recommend CJM and together with this lake, you can't go wrong. let's get wet!
