My children absolutely loved the brief time we spent here. What's important to know is children under 8 must be accompanied if they want to use the pool and the ratio is one adult to each child for safety reasons. There is a lifeguard present of course. My children loved the sand pits and the artificial grass was nice to walk on. There was quite a nice atmosphere. They stop admitting people at 5.30pm as they close at 6pm by which time the stewards would have cleared the place. I found the event staff to be helpful polite and friendly.

I go almost every year and and this year it seems a little smaller. They've done away with the infants Pool and and the Pop-Up ice cream stands and the marquee with bean bags. The length of time it will remain open for has shortened to just three weeks. it's still free which I'm truly grateful for. you can't bring inflatables or pool noodles and the green door in the changing room keeps flying open and is insecure. Despite these issues I thoroughly enjoyed it, the staff were generally friendly and helpful. I was in the pool for hours and I would definitely go again, and yes I would still recommend it to friends and family, as it's going to get hotter this week and this is free. It's a fantastic feeling floating on your back, and looking up at the open Sky on a hot day.

This is a nice place for a visit. Our daughter (nearly 4yo) enjoyed the sandpit but was a bit sad that we'd sold it to her as 'going to the beach' before we'd actually seen what was here. The kids swimming information on the website was confusing. It's run by Love Open Water. You do have to book but for kids and supervising adult it's free. Just register via the website/app. They give you a wristband when you check in. The water was 19 degrees when we visited but felt pretty cold so my daughter decided not to go in after getting waist deep. It ranges from 0.6 - 1.5m deep. It's pebble floor in the pool so bring water shoes if you have them.

A great addition to the area. The Crystal building and the Emirates Airline, along w the cool big grey side of the river dock machine things! The 90s orange-panelled apartments unfortunately overshadow the whole aesthetic and look awful, all they need is painting though- Iād say an industrial grey. Especially with the City Of London offices moving into the area, this needs to be actioned. They were built cheaply and with no aspirational design, but paint goes a longgg way!
