My everyday local for lunch and rather frequently, pints of course. Can't fault it - since the change in ownership this pub has provided many great lunches as well as a friendly and homely place to drink. Thank you to all of the staff who are, without exception, fantastic and accommodating. Would always recommend to a local or to anybody passing by!
Birthday afternoon tea for 4 retired nurse friends .Varied selection of fresh sandwiches and cakes and the meat eaters had extra savouries (paid for as extras) The booking had been mixed up but fortunately everything turned out fine. Staff were friendly and attentive.The tea pot was refilled on request and we had an un-hurried lovely afternoon.The Gedling Inn is a great local asset and Becky and her team are smashing.Worth a visit 100%
Food is absolutely amazing, been here a few times and never had a bad meal and breakfast is lovely and filling also price is good Would highly recommend
Walked in for breakfast, waddled out stuffed! Service was lovely, very attentive. Food came out super hot and was really nice. Would 100% be back to try something else. Prices were good too!
food was really nice i had a southern fried chicken wrap but on the menu it didn’t specify what came in the wrap and a lot of onions came in it which was not okay because i don’t like onions and i had to pick them all out but it should specify that it came with onions because of people being allergic.
First time I have visited this pub and was pleasantly surprised. Was a bit noisy but that could have been just today Good atmosphere Clean and the staff are welcoming and friendly and helpful. Maybe I will have some food on my next visit. Yes I would visit again and recommend this pub too.
Went for Christmas dinner. The food was ok with the exception of the beef which was the toughest I've ever had. That aside we had a good time and the staff were absolutely outstanding considering they were working Christmas Day and the amount of people that were in and the pressure they must have been under. I take my hat off to them they did a fantastic job.
Love the food and the staff here. Always lovely food never had a bad meal here. The staff are always happy and can always have a chat and a laugh with them. Always feel welcome here they do some amazing events as well and the cocktails are very nice too xx
We had our wedding reception here and they did a great job. It was a simple hot buffet for 35 people which everyone enjoyed. Beccy and her team were really helpful in getting everything just as we wanted.
Friendly staff and the food was great. Decent selection of beer and the pub seemed nice and clean.
