   The Blue Chilli Restaurant is becoming our go to place when visiting Mansfield. The food has always been good and a few times more than enough to take more home. An introduction this evening saw a pork Thai Yellow Curry with Coconut Rice washed down with Mirror Lake Savignon and what a combination. The flavour of the Curry was amazing, not too hot in flavour was perfect for me being a wimp when it comes to spicy food. We didn't need to book but I'd suggest it would be best to book in advance to avoid disappointment. The restaurant is opposite a large carpark so is easily accessible.

   Visited here last night, been many times before over years under its different owners. Very busy for a Tuesday night, food excellent as always, love the duck tamarind with jasmine rice, always my fave. Coconut chicken soup delicious, friend had pad thai and tom yum soup. 2 beers £52. Excellent friendly service.

   We've seen many positive reviews for the Blue Chilli but never managed to get a table at short notice, so this was our first visit. Really tasty food and the most polite service that you could wish for. We had set meal A and a few drinks.

   I recently dined at this lovely Thai restaurant and had an excellent experience. The food was delicious and well-prepared, and the place itself was clean and beautifully decorated. The silent atmosphere made for a relaxing dining experience. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more spice to some of the dishes. Overall, highly recommended! ---

   My boyfriend and I came here many times for lunch set menus and they were excellent. However we decided to have a go at the dinner and it turned out to be the wrong decision. My dish pad Thai was tasteless and very average with the price they charged (they probably forgot to add salt). I have to ask them for a salt mill which is very inappropriate in a Thai restaurant. The platter for two was good though. Overall, I recommend lunch, but not dinner unfortunately.

   Lovely food the king prawn curry had 10 prawns in it,not like some full of cheap filler(onion or potatoes)Constant stream of diners shows how good this place is,service is excellent and the dining room is really small which makes for a nice atmosphere, definitely going back.

   I've been here a number of times at lunchtime. I always partake in the lunch menu where you get a starter and main for £9.95 and it's worth every penny. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is amazing, even my fussy husband loves it here. I just love the tempura prawns for starter and the hot basil leaves curry is wonderful, quite spicy but very flavourful, it comes with sticky rice and I love it, I normally hate stodgy rice but this is perfect. Can't recommend this place enough. Also the banana dessert is *chefs kiss*
