Love there leather boots and have a few pairs in my collection can’t fault them also the staff are superbly friendly and approachable and unlike other shoe shops I don’t feel like staff are on your back trying to get sales so they seem very relaxed staff always answer any questions you have about products
Bought my little girl here a couple of months ago, we was greeted by a lady didn’t no her name as she never said, I chose a pair of the pink nice girls shoes that were 38 pound, but in the shop as she was walking in them i kept saying her heel doesn’t look right, the lady kept saying it looked okay, we’ve had problems with the shoes coming off constantly every time she’s walking!! Wouldn’t reccomend here, the reason I haven’t come back is for one it’s a 50/55 minute drive and two they clearly didn’t have an idea as anyone who’s had my little girl and taken her out say her shoes are a nightmare!! I felt like she was thinking more of the money, then the actual issue I was trying to show her in the shop!! But because I thought she knew what she was on about, and said different things I took them. NEVER AGAIN!
Awful, humiliating visit. The staff are very cold. We had our children fitted and chose two pairs of shoes for them, only for the price to double at the till. When we changed our mind, we were told to take the shoes off the children straight away, not even being allowed to walk across the shop to pick up old shoes. Will never shop here again.
Lack of staff present for a busy shopping day. Waited in store around 10 minutes with our ticket, patiently waiting our turn only for the member of staff to press the button and have it go onto the next number after ours. When we mentioned this the member of staff turned to the people who had the number after us and said "you guys have been waiting here a while havent you" and turned to us and said "I did deal with you earlier..." Yes you did, but we came back after discussion so we could order some shoes. We left and did not make a purchase. A badly organised shambles and shoddy service at a time where it is vital to keep every customer you can really.
Generally a good visit. Would have preferred to try on shoes at my own pace instead of having to wait for the assistant to get my size (after she helped someone else) and watch me do it. I guess it would ruin the minimalist vibe to have that many shoes on view. Sales assistant was helpful and also helped me look online for some shoes to see if any were on sale (definitely an attempt to upsell, as were the not so subtle suggestions that I might want a new bag or the stuff that protects suede. Clarks is relatively expensive but I do find the shoes last well.
We got out first pair of shoes for our little boy today. We were served by Paris and she was great! She was wonderful with my child and was really helpful. Thank you!
We came in with my elderly mother to have her feet measured so that we could buy appropriate shoes for her swollen feet. Sophie was very attentive, efficient and provided excellent service enabling what might have been a fraught shopping trip with a very independently minded parent develop into a happy experience. Thank you Sophie.
Sophie welcomed us to the store and helped us choose boots and a pair of shoes. She efficiently found us different types of boots and sizes to try and helped us choose the perfect ones for us. She even found a pair of shoes in the sale to go with a dress for Christmas. We were both extremely happy with the service she provided and so pleased with our purchases.
Myself and my autistic son have made a visit today to buy him some shoes, not only he is a bit of pain to have his foot measured etc, he is also a H in width which means finding right fit for him is hard among other shoe requirements. We were looked after by the wonderful Helen who was extremely patient and pleasant to be served by. She brought out shoes after shoes for us to look through and was extremely accommodating, nothing was too much for her and she done all this while being so lovely to us and with a smile on her face. I never ever been disappointed with service in this Clark’s I must add, and always end up leaving with a pair of well fitting, good quality shoes as well. Thank you Helen for being so lovely and patient with us.
