   Now this place I went to on a D&b night so I did not expect anything much but I was wrong one they can pour Guinness two staff are amazing BECCA AND the duty manager could not remember her name black hair and belly bar amazing I asked to use the disabled toilet due to my ibs no issues I nearly cried when a person gave my step sister issues told bar staff they sorted it straight away proper amazing service!!! Can’t wait to go again epic night

   Although me and my partner have been to Robin Hood multiple times for drinks and tacos, we finally had the Sunday dinner from Robin Hood/Tacolypto. I was so looking forward to it and it did not disappoint. I had the braised beef shin which was shredded off the bone before serving and it was so tender and flavoursome. My partner had the chicken which he said was very nice as well. The roast potatoes were absolutely on point, super crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside, which I’m not sure how they do as the roasties were relatively oval shaped, not cubed and fluffed up par-boiled to get those crispy edges! The gravy was super nice too, and the veg had the right amount of crunch. I’ve never been a fan of spiced red cabbage so I left most of that but it was still okay, I tried it again for posterity but it just isn’t for me. The mashed potato was nice but a little too smooth for me, maybe I’m just used to my mum’s mash with slight lumps in it and a ton of butter and cream haha.. You could tell the Yorkshire puddings were homemade, massive size, crispy on the top and slightly soggy on the bottom but in a good way, just how I like. Terry even made a little doggy dinner for our dog, who absolutely lapped it up and was literally begging for more. All in all the roast was splendid, as well as service and drink prices. Terry is an accomplished chef and although we’ve only caught the roast dinner as it’s coming to a close, we wish Terry the best of success in the future and look forward to sampling his future culinary delights.

   Booked a Sunday roast here. Wasn't expecting much to be honest. Only had the nicest meal I've had all year in Nottingham. Cosy Club, Brown's, send your chefs here to learn how to cook lamb!!!!

   Visiting friends for the weekend and came here for a Sunday Roast. I have to say, it was the best roast I’ve had in a very long time. The portions were generous and it was so so tasty. I had the beef shin and I could not fault it. Such a cosy pub, nice and warm and the staff here are a delight. Friendly, accommodating and genuine people making the whole experience enjoyable. There is a lot of establishments that can learn a lot from the staff here. Thank you and see you again sometime.

   I like the staff, the garden/ outdoor bar is great, I can't wait for a nicer weather. Its a nice pub. Just a shame they dont serve food. They organize nice events like the Halloween party with a magician!

   Exactly what a community led pub should be. Friendly atmosphere, lots of events on, great staff and a few local beers. Even a hidden soft play to loose the kids in for a few hours!

   Fabulous pub, quirky garden with graffiti art. Upcycled pianos and umbrellas! Pop up food was Dapper Duck and it was amazing. Fabulous quality, totally tasty and great value. Vegan options available too.

   Fab venue for live music. @The Days of Tomorrow were fabulous! Thanks to the manager for one more song. Alcohol free IPA actually tasted pretty good for a designated driver. :) Can't wait to come back. Easy parking at Spondon Street. Do wish it was lit at night.
