We stayed at Primrose House for 2 nights over a weekend as a couple with our dog. The Windmill Room was a very nicely renovated ground floor ensuite with comfy bed and good quality shower. The room was very clean and had a kettle with some tea/coffee supplies in - the website does warn about potential noise from above but couldn't comment on that. Susie, Paul and Chip the dog could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. The breakfast served in the main house was excellent and some lovely touches with home-grown / sourced produce. Local small supermarket within walking distance as are a couple of pubs. Cotgrave Country Park under a mile away is an excellent space for walking the dog. We would certainly look at coming back if in the area again!

I travel away with my work and very rarely do i leave reviews however will make an exception this time.. On my arrival we were met with a welcoming friendly owner of the property. All 3 of us agreed that we will return here with family as the atmosphere we received was one of being a guest in their home rather than just renting a room. Situated in a quiet peaceful environment with a lovely garden to sit and relax in this really is a place for relaxing. 20 mins to centre of Nottingham but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Rooms spotless and a better sleep i could not have. Homemade breakfast to order with fresh homemade bread. You will not be disappointed.

Our extended family had a lovely time at Primrose House and hosts Susie and Paul were very gracious and accommodating to our various needs. Susie cooks up a delicious and nutritious breakfast with a special mention of her baked plums with cinnamon & her homemade cheese buns! Yummy! Susie had great suggestions for local sites of interest for us to see each day. The rooms were very clean and modern and beds super comfortable. We had a lovely stay and we will be back!

We were warmly welcomed by Susie and Paul, who are both fantastic hosts. We stayed at Weavers Room, a very kind treat offered for my birthday. Everything was incredibly clean and well thought of - open fresh cupboards, very comfortable mattress and power shower. The breakfast was exquisite, we had Susie's home made bread and jam, organic plums from their garden in addition to the superb cooked breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Primrose House B&B and wholeheartedly recommend it - we'll certainly be back.

Primrose House was a lovely little BnB in a very nice area. Susie was very welcoming when we arrived, showing us into the property and letting us know everything we needed. The room was spacious, with a kitchenette and beautifuly decorated. Breakfast was great with local produce and eggs from the garden. We all enjoyed the fresh homemade bread! Susie & Paul's dog, Chip, was very sweet and well behaved. Thank you Susie and Paul, it was lovely to meet you both and you are wonderful hosts.

We have stayed at Primrose House several times now and never been disappointed. The rooms are well-appointed, warm and comfortable. Susie is a great cook and makes the most delicious home cooked breakfasts to start your day. The house and surroundings have a peaceful setting and lovely ambience. We love Chips the dog too and look forward to returning.

This was my third stay at Primrose House and I rebook because of the very warm welcome from Paul and Susie, the wonderfully comfy beds and spotless facilities. Breakfast is a highlight of the visit, freshly made with eggs laid by the hens that morning! When I return to the area in the Spring, my visit dates will be made around availability at Primrose House!

The Primrose House states it's a B&B but the room we stayed in felt like a Hotel room. We stayed in the Top Cottage which was wonderful. Clean, warm and comforting. Sue was there to great us on our arrival and was there in the morning to make our breakfast, which was 5 star to say the least. Goodbyes were made on our departure, and I can safely say we will be returning.
