   Took a deposit of 150. The wall was slightly damaged when we got in, the toilet needed to be flushed repeatedly. If I don't get the full deposit back I'm going to dispute it because we didn't damage anything or break any rules.

   “Avoid West One Hotel! My 17 year old daughter booked a £90 room and they took a £150 security deposit upfront. Then just a few days before her stay, West one cancelled her booking because of her age, they didn’t charge the £90 but have still not refunded the deposit! Completely unacceptable and feels like a scam. We have been unable to speak to anyone despite phone calls and emails. This booking was in December, two months down the line still no refund. If anyone at West One reads this please let rectify this, who do we contact and how do we get our refund?

   Super clean, very well equipped and quiet studio apartment! It's also a great location, 3 mins walk from a co-op market and about 10 mins from the local town centre with bars and restaurants. I'll definitely be staying here again.

   Do not stay here. Absolutely unprofessional! The studio was advertised with AC, no AC present just a fan. During my stay there were window cleaners present that could see directly into the studio with no warning at 9:00 in the morning. And then to make it worse check out is at 10:30, but that's a complete lie with housekeeping trying to get inside your room before 10am. Parking is also atrocious, with a very narrow driveway. Honestly would stay away from this place, whoever owns this cares nothing about hospitality, and if you're reading this I'd like a refund for the disgusting behaviour.

   Great place. Not too far from the city centre, taxi was about £7. Appartment was very good. Very clean and well equipped. Sorting out the deposit and id beforehand was a bit of a faff though.

   DON'T STAY HERE Having just had a very poor stay at River Rooms owned by the same person as West One Studios, we concluded my business stay in Nottingham here at West One. Whilst I was out on business, my wife stayed in the room. Without warning, two men walked into the room having used the security pin to open the door. They said they were there to 'look at the door'. My wife yelled GET OUT which they did. My wife was utterly terrified by the incident. The owner's response was one of indifference. We said that if contractors needed to look at a door, that an email or phone call was in order BEFORE they attended. We did not stay the second night and made other arrangements instead. The owner needs to buck up his ideas of hospitality. Message to the owner: There's more to business than just the money.

   Contractors walked into my room no knock notting when I rang the owner he did not care to be honest he's only about the money in my opinion I will never use you again
