   Rooms were nice unfortunately the young lady running the bar/restaurant was very rude. Forgot one of our groups food then when asked told us there was nothing else for him to have.my food was decent but very small portions. Would highly recommend the falcon a little further down the road.

   AMAZING food! Easily the best place to eat for miles, and I’ve never had a bad meal here. The menu is on the smaller side, which I actually think is a good sign - every dish is done to a really high standard. Lovely ambience and great service too. Perfect spot for a special occasion!

   We just needed somewhere to stop for coffee between Yorkshire and Somerset. I phoned a week in advance and staff were very helpful. On arrival, staff were helpful. Service was excellent. Coffee was good. My elderly mother said that the disabled toilet was probably the cleanest and best she had ever seen. Over all excellent - I hope to have the opportunity to visit again some day.

   Amazing rooms, incredibly friendly staff, food was amazing. Came with whole family including 99 year old grandfather and was really good. Very kind. Would recommend for everyone. Event going on at same time and looked great too. Big rooms - especially accessible one which was great for grandparents, clear care put into rooms and amenities.

   Interesting menu, lots of intriguing variations on standard pub grub. I had this chicken supreme with chorizo on the side. Delicious. There were so many different flavors on the plate I was really impressed. Lovely staff and fast service too.

   A cozy restaurant/pub. More restaurant than pub, especially in the in winter months. But don’t let that stop you going in for a pint. Friendly staff, good service and well delivered simple menu.
