Stopped at the parlour hotel Bridgnorth Saturday 28th June 2025 we paid for a double room but the room was very small and compact it was more like a single room and for £130 it was massively overpriced for the size breakfast was OK but manager was standing in the breakfast area which made me uneasy as felt like I was being watched my wife felt the same the garden is the best feature by far it is amazing but unfortunately the size of the room and the overpricing we won't be staying at this hotel again the bed was so uncomfortable I was turning all night and woke with a bad back not a great experience but enjoyed the garden

Loved it. Simple as. Check in about 4pm to be greatest by the owners whom are just so sweet and kind! Friendly banter and questions making you feel important and cared for so you're not so much a customer but a friend. I'd booked a single room for one night (August last year I believe) for my cousins wedding beautiful room and that's what I was anticipating however I'd come to find out I'd been bumped up in the time that passed only making me feel more comfortable and important when I'd arrived only to be bumped up once again just beautiful I have a nice smile and seemed friendly. They are unbelievably kind and helpful. The husband even carried my suitcase up to my room (didn't know hotels and that still did that) and explained everything. Highly recommend. It was a beautiful experience.

Very warm welcome from the staff and a great location for this for this very charming hotel. I found the decor fascinating with an eclectic mix of paintings, statutes and vintage furniture in every corner and wall. Our double on suite room was finished off with a very comfy 4 poster bed! The staff can't do enough for you, everything is just an as away. The manager (Martin) was very professional and looked after us throughout.

Room was small but clean, staff friendly enough. The hotel is best described as intimate as I could intimately here at 3 in the morning the residents in the next room having a party. Not the fault of staff per se but selling the residents a load of cans for cash and then asking them to "keep it down a bit" definitely didn't help. Didn't get to breakfast, overslept oddly enough. It's quaint and it comes with a long historical reputation as the place to stay in Bridgnorth, handy for the river and some of the attractions that provides. Good value for money

Friendly, helpful welcome. Room had everything we needed for a comfy stay, lovely clean room. Had drinks in bar pleasant, relaxing and cosy. Chef off so were offered Continental breakfast, which was good for us as we had an early start. Ample breakfast did us for lunch as well. Only thing would change , have mugs instead of tea cups in room. Will definitely stay again. Thank you ☺️

Lovely hotel, spotless room which had everything we needed, bath, shower, tv, kettle etc. comfy bed and clean towels. Only one complaint and thats the breakfast, help yourself to sausage bacon etc but it wasnt hot enough for our liking. Third time we have stayed and will definitely be staying again.
