The owners were really pleasant and also very accommodating. Very personable. The bar staff were very pleasant as well and the food was really good. The room was very large, the heating was instantaneously controllable on the radiator knob. The bathroom let the accommodation down with low pressure from the sink and shower but high pressure from the bath taps. Generally the bathroom could do with a revamp to a more modern standard. There was also a noise from a boiler, maybe, outside just below the room which made it hard to sleep from about 5 in the morning. The mattress however was absolutely awesome along with the pillow selection tion.

Recently stayed here for the 2nd time in the last 3 years as a base for a short golfing trip. Great location, wonderful staff (thank you Richard and Steph) they made us feel so very welcome. The food was excellent, the pub is genuinely one of my favourites of all time. So to John and Norma and all the staff, thank you for having us can't wait to visit again.

Review We stayed at Bull head inn for 3 nights. Sadly, it wasn’t a great experience in the restaurant and in the accommodation. We arrived and were greeted with a lovely welcome by a lady. She showed us to the accommodation. We stayed in the 7 bed house. We were aware that the furniture would be dated however, the house was dirty. The kitchen down the side and under the cupboards were full of spiders webs and dirt. There was dust on the headboards and on the TV stand in the living room. My 2 year old was walking round with no shoes and socks on and his feet were covered in dirt. The car park light was on all night which was shining through our window as the curtains let the light through. On our first night we went for dinner at the pub and we had really high hopes until the food came out. My dad had scampi which was overcooked and my mum had the duck hoisin salad. The salad was hot duck dumped on some salad leaves with lots of warm sauce. It tasted and looked unappealing. For the other nights we eat somewhere else. I really wanted to like this place but it wasn’t to be. I feel like the owners are overwhelmed with running accommodation and a pub.

The restaurant food was outstanding! We had the steak and wow, it was the best I’ve had in years! The inn is very homely with a modern twist. The bathrooms are updated and very nice. The area is quite wonderful and truly give you the countryside experience.

Lovely bar staff, great and varied menu and delicious food. We loved the fact the chef came out when we arrived to say hello and then also asked how our food was! Would definitely return, thanks
