£100 fine whilst waiting for access into Car Park. Only Visit if willing to run risk of getting Fined. Pub is, adequate no frills and cheap, but parking arrangements terrible and very unwelcoming access road in, to be greeted by hundreds of signs saying No parking etc, waited ten minutes for staff to become free paid them £25 quid for the pleasure and still got a fine....Won't be visiting again.

Just had a 2 night stay on one of the pitches near the river, beautiful site, great location and peaceful nights sleep, very reasonably priced too! Only thing that spoilt it was the toilet/ shower block that really needs some.attention, it was dirty and showers not working, such a shame as its a lovely site, also there was a rather strong smell of weed coming from the people fishing on the river bank but other than that really enjoyed our stay. Had lunch today with my husband at this lovely pub. The drinks were very reasonably priced and the food excellent. My husband had the hunters chicken which was exactly as it should be made and my Fisherman's pie was packed with high quality ingredients and absolutely delicious. The setting and the staff couldn't be improved on and we shall most definitely be returning. Apologies that our car alarm kept going off!.

Been coming here for years, kids have always loved it. However our last stay wasn’t very pleasant got complaints for our 1 year old baby crying! Went into the pub as a group of 19 (which was told on leaving that no other places would accommodate 19 but we booked has a group and that was allowed!) if you don’t want to accommodate bigger groups don’t take the bookings cause it’s not our fault when we’ve come for dinner at a place that accepted our booking and there isn’t enough staff to handle it! and when the order was messed up I was told that’s what I had ordered (which clearly we didn’t) didn’t want to help and basically just left the food in front of us even tho wasn’t our order! Wasn’t until WE asked the other table n it was there order! No apologies no nothing from the staff!!, the shower block wasn’t very clean, in the past was always cleaned and looked after there was one shower working which wasn’t working the morning we leaving so my daughter couldn’t have a shower!! We’ve been told by the owners that because of us people have left the camp! Even tho music was off and other pitches around the camp had music! We’ve been told we not welcome there again! But in all honestly I won’t be returning now! We enjoyed part of the stay the kids loved playing and being free but the staff have made us feel like bad guys when we just a family 4 tents good company just enjoying the time with the kids! We had no problems with anyone! But when your being told it sounds like your murdering the baby then hear them discussing (slagging you off) about the same incident to a group of other women in the pub then clearly we have to stand our ground and voice our own opinions! A 1 year old can’t tell you what’s the matter he can’t help that his way to express his emotions is threw crying! Really unprofessional the way it was all dealt with and how we’ve been made to feel!

Beautifully located on the banks of the River Severn, however, nasty winding lane passing Severn Valley Railway to access the pub. Standard pub grub elevated to meet dietary requirements. Even making homemade onion rings in gluten free batter! Great prices for the standard of food. They could easily charge much more. Eat inside or out on the deck. Help yourself to cutlery and condiments, pay at the bar and take a numbered spoon to your seat. Friendly atmosphere. Great, safe play area for children and pygmy goats to say hello to. Food was such good value and quality that we went back the following week to eat again!

A real biker friendly site with secure parking for loaded bikes. Rooms are compact but comfortable. Food was well cooked and presented. The staff are friendly and helpful. Location is beautiful with single track lane approach.

We enjoyed our meals at the unicorn which we only found a few weeks ago. The portions were very generous and the prices were very competitive. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We hope to return when we visit the Seven Valley again.

Just back from a 3 day break at the Unicorn Inn. Nice site at the end of a long narrow lane, but worth the journey. Clean, tidy site, quiet and very friendly. Had a meal in the Inn, exceptional value for money. Would have stayed longer, but will certainly return. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Edit following the response. Yes, I've got the right pub. Not sure why you would feel the need to question that? I would rather have not shared my thoughts due to your penchant for replying to negative reviews by suggesting your customers are mistaken. However, the poor service, off beer, below average food and loud music all added up to a poor experience. In my view your establishment deserved a one star rating.

The Unicorn Inn is a pub/B&B on a camping and caravan site, located close to Hampton Loade Station on the Severn Valley Railway and next to the River Severn. There is plenty of seating outside to enjoy the views if the weather is nice, and inside the pub is tastefully decorated and comfortable, though can become crowded, especially in the evenings at weekends, when there is often entertainment on offer for the campers. The younger bar staff that served me would benefit from additional training in bar skills and customer service, which was a pity, as there are more experienced staff working there, who could easily pass on their experience and knowledge. The drinks were reasonably priced and the food was tasty and great value for money.
