   Sarah, Simon and their team took care of my 11 year old dog when I was away for a week, and I was delighted with their care. Stan had never boarded before, so Sarah suggested an initial trial night to see how he got on. Her feedback was constructive and positive, so we booked him in for the holiday. She sent some lovely photos and videos, in which he was clearly genuinely relaxed and happy, and the camera stream meant I could see that he was similarly (largely!) relaxed when in his comfortable, warm room, as well as being able to see that he was in a routine. They also introduced some really supportive ideas without my prompt, such as the life-size toy human, which helped him settle, showing that they're equipped and quick to put extra help in place should your dog need it. When I came to collect him, he was happy to share his affections with all three of us. Sarah had also very thoughtfully washed his bedding, and all his items were sorted out and ready to bring home. It's very hard to 'give' your dog to someone else to care for, but Sarah and Simon made it easy for my dog to enjoy his time away - therefore I did, too. Many thanks, Sarah and Stan

   Beautiful location and the pens are homely. The owners and staff are very caring and look after the dogs so well. My pup had his first overnight stay last night and he is a typical lockdown pup, hasn't been away from us much in his 19 months of life! The team tried lots of different things to help him settle. They also have a webcam you can log into for each run so you can see your dog and how they are getting on (only your dog though, no other pens, so it's private). I would thoroughly recommend :)

   Fantastic place. Our dogs had never stayed anywhere without us before. I did a lot of research and im so glad I fount Hillside. Our dogs were well looked after, and such friendly staff. We will most definitely trust Hillside with our dogs again. Lovely rooms, beautiful spot. Thank you guys for looking after our pooches so well.

   First time at the age of nearly 11 our dog Kenzo has been left without family for a week and not in his own home. The staff are amazing and did everything to make sure Kenzo was settled and not to anxious. He had the stuffed dummy who he thought was a person in the room Place is spotless and lovely rooms for dogs. Will only leave my dog here in future . Thank you all Sam
