   I don't like giving out one star reviews unless it's for complete incompetence. It's fully justified in this instance and I'd implore any customers to steer well clear of dealing with Evans Cycles. My situation: I've received absolutely appalling service from Evans Cycles Nottingham. Ordered a Trek FX+2 through Cyclescheme on 21st July - what followed was three weeks of broken promises, zero communication, and complete indifference to customer service. Had to visit the store three times just to get basic updates, with staff making excuses about courier systems and complaining about other companies instead of taking responsibility. When they finally admitted the bike was missing and no longer in stock, they'd known for ages but waited for me to walk into the store rather than picking up the phone. My son lost his entire school holidays waiting for bike rides that never happened. Having worked in customer service myself, I'd be mortified to provide this level of "service". The store manager eventually offered a credit note (6 weeks post initial order) - why on earth would I shop here again after this experience? Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy wasting your time and being treated with complete disregard.

   Visited the store on Saturday 26 June and Sam talked my wife through the pros and cons of e-bikes and the various options available. Couldn't ride the bike in the store, but went to another shop and tried the Raleigh Motus that Sam had shown us. Great ride so went back Sunday 27 June looked out for Sam who was so helpful again and we purchased the bike. My wife can't wait to ride it. Thanks Sam!

   We popped into this shop to look at the various E bikes. Two very polite, well spoken, young guys were extremely helpful and spent time going through the various options with us. Didn't buy today but if either of us do it'll be in this shop!

   Outstanding, supportive work this week by Evans Cycles Nottingham. The work wasn't hard, but their approach to solve it and remove problems for me in the middle of a long journey from Yorkshire to London cannot be overstated. I completed my 6-day ride, I achieved what I wanted, and having my bike work again was fundamental to it all. Thanks so much guys.

   Have been a regular customer of Evans in Nottingham for a a number of years now. These guys are extremely knowledgable, competitive on price with a great in house workshop for servicing and repair needs. Particular call out to Max and Adam, great personal touch customer service from what is a big high street chain.

   Having taken my partners bike to Halfords Netherfield Nottingham which left us with a rattling loose nutted unsafe death trap (not the first time), we decided to go to Evans cycles to have the bike checked over by People that are competent and trained in their chosen field. (Adam & Max), they sorted out the problem with a nylon locknut on the rear cable clamp which was not even finger tight and a loose chain. Thank you guys much appreciated. Top service and very customer focused. five stars all the way.

   Great service from Adam and his colleague. They very patiently checked a problem with my front wheel, sorted a replacement and did little extras such as adjusting the brake to fit the new rim. Really pleased
