“Visited the shop today for the first time to get my son a cricket bat. What amazing staff everyone was so helpful and very knowledgeable. Great selection of cricket equipment too. First thing they did was measure my son’s height to get the correct bat size. My son was then introduced to the different types of bats. He wanted a GM Ben Stokes, he tried it out with a few shots and loved it. I got an adult bat too. We were also given a demonstration on the best way to oil and knock in the bat. Great shopping experience, thank you.”

They have their bigger shop in Leicester and can bring anything you need. They do all sorts of rackets, like tennis and squash. Quick turn around, got my racket the next day.”

He seemed to be the only person around (I think it may have been break or lunchtime). He was always polite and kept his cool. I had to mention to the manager how excellent his customer service was. “We bought a pair of Crocs online and they were the wrong size. We were visiting grandchildren in Nottingham so took them for exchange at JD Sports at Netherfield, Nottingham. A member of staff was working near the entrance. We were greeted with a smile and he asked if he could help. We explained and he said he had them in stock on the shop floor. He gave us the choice of several sizes and took us to the counter and explained a return and supply of replacement. The lady was quickly on to it in friendly fashion and we both said we should have come here in the first place. We went online for mobility issues. We were treated very well by both people. They are a credit to JD Sports.”

“I was looking for pair of trainers, I have feet size 12, and it is always a problem to find shoes. But in this JD store the staff was super helpful they immediately offered to help me find the right pair and size. for me they checked all the pairs that I was interested in, (and it was about 25 pairs of trainers!) two assistants helped me at the same time, it was very nice and professional of them. I picked the perfect pair. and at the checkout another staff member helped me get an application for accumulating cashback for my purchase. I highly recommend this store! Special thanks to the guys who work there and helped me so much: Zaiga, Taylor and Pauline. They are the best! Im definitely coming back!”

“We had to go to the store having realised that we had been charged incorrectly for and item we bought at Meadowhall. Staff were excellent in sorting this and checking with the other store how the error had occurred. The manager then honoured the price that we should have paid even though it had been labelled incorrectly in Meadowhall. Really lovely girl serving us, I think her name was Hannah, and the manager was excellent (but I didn’t get his name). Great service all round.”
