The nicest staff and vets who are extremely knowledgeable. They keep you informed and are so helpful. They genuinely care about your animals and know what they’re talking about, so I can’t recommend them more. We have been a customer of this Veternary services for over 30 years . All the staff are very professional . And Ewan and Bryn are always compassionate and caring . Excellent in an emergency . We were pet sitting daufhters dog became seriously ill . They were amazing in treating her promptly . Personally we would not take our pets anywhere else . .

I adopted two kittens in 2020 and very rapidly they both needed emergency care, as I didn’t do my research before getting them. One had completely stopped eating the night before and Castle Vets took the cats in first thing the next morning. They gave me realistic odds, outcomes, and talked about costs in a clear manner and handled my distress with compassion. They called when they said they would with updates and thankfully my cats beat the odds and made it through. Why write a review 4.5 years later? I regularly think of this practice and how grateful I am for their care and how they handled the situation Outside of emergency care, also had the cats spayed here and they answered my anxious phone calls on vomiting and behavior questions with grace. I recognize they’re not the cheapest option, or at least they weren’t four years ago, but the quality of care and compassion was worth every penny! It was Toulouse’s first checkup today and what a stressful day it was. Through all of the tears and breeder faff, the Castle Vet team were incredible. They were so kind and did everything they could to help, while making me and little Toulouse feel as comfortable as possible. I am so so grateful to all of the ladies that helped us out. Ewen Brynne and all the team at the Castle veterinary Surgery cared for my westie for just under 17 yrs. They always showed my Simba care and respect. They always explained fully what procedure Would be best for Simba. I know it will take me a long time to come to terms with Simba's passing but if I do have another dog I most certainly will be taking it to the Castle veterinary Surgery. I wish to thank everyone for the compassion that was shown to my family and myself when Simba's life came to an end Maureen Winter

Very experienced vets, they know their stuff. Also, when we later moved away from Notts they were great with transferring tests, xrays and notes to the new vet. Highly recommend this great team!
Talking to a lady at the local Nottingham Dog park, age recommended Castle Veterinary Centre, to which I replied, "Oh I haven't needed the vet's in ages!" Cut to an hour later, my lovely dog Foxi has caught her dewclaw and twisted it. I was able to get an appointment that day for her to be seen. She's very nervous at the vet but the excellent team calmed her down, sorted it out and bandaged her up. Thank you to Ewan and his team for the amazing service, and for keeping COVID safety at the forefront of their practice. Foxi is home and well and living for the drama of it all!
I've been with Castle Vets for years until I moved away last year. Phoebe (CC) passed away this last Monday and wanted to say thank you for the long and supportive care you have given us. She made it to 24.7 years old. Thank you again for the service.
