Rude rude rude. Customer service here is so bad from everyone I’ve met. Post office is jsut randomly closed so don’t even bother with that. And they were so unhelpful when my Evri parcel arrived. Go to anywhere else in Petts Wood!
Shop is ok for a few bits and bobs now and then but its not a reliable source for groceries. The staff are not great. They seem to get a lot of turn over, there's only a few that have been there long term and they tend to be the most pleasant. Overall they seem to be rude or incompetent. For example the phone and data reception in there is awful so can never load my more card so I ask for a receipt so I can scan for my points later. One staff member was able to do it no problem then when I ask a different day with a different staff member, nope it doesn't work like that, you have to scan you card before hand. You'd think they'd know how their own point system works. Tldr: Its ok for basic/one off item shop, lots improvement to be made in regards to staff.
This place gets worse every day. The woman on the till tried charging me £13.50 for something that is actually £3.50. When I questioned her about it she got rude and defensive and demanded that I showed her proof. Even after pointing out the price she still didn’t believe it, so I had to go back and pull the label off the shelf and bring it to her. Even after all of that she didn’t just apologise for wasting my time and embarassing me - she demanded that I put the label back on the shelf and continued to be rude. A bit of customer service skills would go a long way in this shop. Premier down the road is alot cheaper and all the staff are always so helpful and friendly.
Worst store in the area. Hardly any stock, barely any fridges are working and not enough staff. Post office having to close for 4 hours due to staff not being trained.
Not only are the fridges so bad that all their drinks are warm but they also sell cans of drink which are not to be sold seperately from multipacks… The manager is also very rude.
Always huge stock gaps. Deliveries don’t arrive. Freezers completely empty. Just don’t bother risking it and head to Tesco Extra instead.
My local corner shop. It’s a mini Morrisons market, but also it has a Post Office counter and a Costa Coffee automatic machine. Friendly service. Outside of the shop, there is a cash point (charge £1.65 per using) and a Post box. Free car parking outside of the store.
Rude and awful shop staff, truly the worst I have ever met - it’s like the job application states “please work here if you have no manners or morals”. They promised to look at disgusting racism and ignorance their employees displayed and never did. Manager “Chris” is a most awful misogynistic ignorant racist I have ever met.
