   I'm so pleased we found Becky. She has saved me a lot of worry. I didn't want to put my cats in a cattery as they are rescue cats. Becky came round before we went away to see our routine. I was messaged on the first day to inform me all was good and well. When we came back the girls were relaxed and happy (almost disappointed we were back, I think) Becky is a lovely lady, who is very intune with animals and she even had the kindness to water my plants. Thank you Becky. Will definitely be using your services again.

   I think it's important that people should know that I've had a real bad experience with Simon the dog walker a friend of mine was walking past the park where my dog was supposed to get walked and have a run round he watched Simon on the park sitting down with Coby on his lead he sat there for a good 10 to 15 minutes so then I asked my friend to go and record him to see for myself what was going on he did this on two other occasions and both times he was sat there with no dogs on the park with Coby on his lead where he could of at least let him off to have a run round I watched the recording and saw Coby just looking around wondering what was going on I felt so sad that I trusted Simon to walk him it made me feel guilty and I was wondering how many more times this had gone on for what are the odds of every time my friend checked on Simon he was sitting down I confronted Simon with the recordings he didn't say a thing just stood there with a guilty look on his face after Simon left I got a phone call from becky coming out with all the excuses that cobys an old dog and that he doesn't walk very well and that he is antisocial and aggressive then threatened me by saying you don't want to mess with me then Becky sent me a message saying she is tacking me to court so ok Becky see you in court I'll keep the recordings for evidence. By the way I have a new dog walker and she is great I get photos of Coby running around a very happy dog so if you are thinking of using home alone pet services think again. In response to your to your reply I never sent the other dog walker away she walked him on that day that your on about and I asked her to come at a regular time or 1 o'clock that week in which she was very happy to do she even said that he's a lovely dog to walk so I don't know where your getting that from. And as for the the paperwork you supposedly gave me I never received I asked for your bank details so I could pay straight in to your account but you insisted in cash I paid on time every Friday without fail your just trying to make yourself look good but it isn't working your full of lies and I wouldn't recommend you at all. Just wondering why you have 3 reviews by Simon??

   We have been loyal customers for several years due to great service provided. Scruff and Scout love their daily walks with Becky and Simon who are incredibly flexible and reliable. We have also used the daycare and boarding services on many occasions and would highly recommend them due to the amazing and well priced service. It is clear that Becky and Simon love all the animals they care for and treat them like part of the family. Ciaran Hickey

   I think it’s important that reviews give an honest and whole impression of a business for future customers to make an informed decision. The reviews for Home Alone Pet Services do not reflect our experience of them and if there had been some more honest reviews, we would have gone for a different dog walker. Our experience: unprofessional, poor communication and unreliable. We hired Becky to do a house visit (wee and water bowl fill) and 10 min walk with our golden retriever puppy every week day at 12pm whilst we were at work. This meant our pup would get his big morning and evening walk with us, and only have to be alone for 4 hours maximum during the day with a short outing to stretch his legs. We had suspicions, for various reasons, that on occasions Rex hadn’t been walked, however we gave Becky the benefit of the doubt and our trust and didn’t make any accusations. Sadly, our suspicions this week were confirmed as my husband was working across the road and could see her comings and goings. On 2 separate days, Becky turned up 2 hours late, meaning poor Rex would had been alone for 6 hours if my husband hadn’t spotted she hadn’t been and went over to let him out. To make matters worse, she didn’t walk him on one of the days! As she didn’t tell us about this, we gave her an opportunity to own up before we confronted her, which she didn’t, so we had to call her out on it and ask for an explanation: she gave many unfortunate and sad reasons, which i’m sure are all true, however this didn’t change the fact she wasn’t going to tell us she hadn’t carried out our arrangements and we had to pull it out of her. We now wonder on how many other occasions this has happened, and she’s never bothered to let us know. How many other times has our puppy been left for hours alone or not walked?? As Becky doesn’t give an receipt at the end of the month, and just requests an amount in cash, we’ve always just believed she was carrying out what we’d agreed. We never get texts or photos to let us know how Rex got on or any contact to inform us of any changes, so we never imagined she was wasn’t doing what we hired her to do. If she’d had let us know in the morning (prior) or in the afternoon (post) that she was having personal troubles and that Rex had been left alone for a long time or not walked, rather then keeping this information a secret, covering up and deceiving us, we could have made additional arrangements for our pup so he was being cared for fully. Now the trust is broken, we feel cheated and we would not recommend Home Alone Pet Services. Edit: following this review, Becky asked us to remove it and then proceeded to send us a series of personal and abusive text messages.

   Always very helpful and friendly to me as a Human, but I think the best recommendation of all, is that the dog pulls my arm off when going TO the pet-sitters front door! She loves it there! Nothing like going to a kennels, when the dog doesn't even want to get out of the car - With Home Alone, she can't wait to see these guys, so I'm guessing she has a good time staying there :)
