   Very pleasant park bounded by the River Tavy on one side and Tavistock Canal on the other. There is a playground for the young ones. Squirrels are commonly seen,and ducks and geese are to be found in the canal. There are two cafés in the park. On the other side of the canal are to be found tennis courts, a sensory garden, a bowling green, and an area for bmx bike riding.

   Lovely park for any age. Feed the ducks, go on the zip line, swings slides etc.. Coffeeshop serves Lovely coffee and staff very nice. The squirrels are so cute how they come right up to you and take nuts off you. River flowing nicely but didn't see any fish. Definitely be back soon.

   Great place to allow our grandson to let off steam...well a little anyway. Lovely park that has a super play area. The grounds around it are well looked after. Superb.

   Fantastic place for children to play. Lot of room to play and have fun. At the park there is a nice little shop where you can get hot food and drinks. At the side of the playground, there is a canal with wild birds eagerly waiting to be fed. Ducks, pigeons, seagulls, and few others are there taking their share of food. Car parking is very nearby with a lot of space. Park is in Tavistok near the town centre. We are going there again.

   The Meadows is always a pleasure to visit. I probably walk around the park 5 or 6 times a week. A very special place, the river on one side, the canal on the other. A fantastic time of year to visit, flowers, cherry blossom and ducklings.

   Beautiful place, with River on both sides and play ground in the middle. Great for picnic, there is also sensory garden full of beautiful flowers. It's located just the car park.

   Very nice bowls club, with a hearty welcome. Excellent green in tip top condition. Very enjoyable game of bowls. Served a pasty and drinks after the game. The siting of the green is perfect with a stream running by at one end leading to a park.

   Such a great community space. Lovely little park nestled away in amongst the stunning town. Great for all ages. Spacious and well kept. The ducks are happy to be fed and thr children love watching them. Has nearby toilets, parking facilities and a lovely little cafe. Right on the site is the meadowland swimming pool amd the town itself is only a short walk away.
