We recently stayed at Langstone Manor for a week in their rental cottage. It is a beautiful site, offering pitches, camping pods, mobile homes and 2 cottages to rent. The owners are so lovely and so welcoming to both us and our dog. The amenities are excellent and they have a restaurant on site too which is open each evening, a welcome addition after a day on the moor. The cottage is equipped with everything you could wish for along with a dog proof garden. The beds are so comfortable with high quality bed linen. Langstone Manor is perfectly situated right on Dartmoor and a stones throw from Tavistock. We will definitely return again as they made us feel so welcome and we enjoyed our stay so much. We can highly recommend.

My first time on Dartmoor. Great walking with my 2 dogs - Moors literally accessible by rear gate from site. I had a pod which was plant room for me and both dogs. Really friendly staff. Very clean and well kept. Lots of recycling and resources saving at 5he site which was great to see.

Brilliant campsite! Stayed here for 3 nights. The facilities are brilliant, very clean and spacious. They allow use of a freezer to freeze ice packs, which is a real life saver when camping. Staff were very friendly and approachable. The food and drink in the restaurant was nice, we ate the first night, and went back again on the last as we enjoyed it that much. Good for walkers with lots of routes out of the site, equally good location central to lots of things to drive to.

Lovely experience, we stayed in a wooden pod for the night and the customer service was excellent! The views, the morning bird chorus and the sounds of rain, absolutely magic. The facilities were very clean. The only thing we didn’t like so much was the sofa bed (a bit old and tough so hard to sleep on). If the sofa bed would be a bit more comfortable, it would 5 stars for sure. We want to come back!

Thank you again for a wonderful stay this week! The food was especially good and a credit to Darren and the team for tasty, moreish food. The lamb tagine and game burger were the best. Hope you all have a fantastic rest when the season is over. See you next year !! H&P and the labs

The latest of many visits to this little bit of heaven. Excellent site, clean with first class facilities. Suitable for families, couples or solos. Very good bar and restaurant/takeaway. Staff couldn't be more helpful.

Peaceful touring site with great facilities. From a touring perspective the approach in is a bit special. You really don’t want to meet someone coming the other way. Once your on-site the owners can’t do enough to help you. It’s a smallish touring site which has a charm of its own. The hedges could do with a trim but that’s being picky. The showers and toilets are first class along with waste disposal. There’s a small shop in reception where you can order croissants and baguettes daily. There’s also a bar and food available. Out the gate and up the hill and your on Dartmoor. Bar and restaurant serve good wholesome food. All in all it’s a great site

What a surprise! Right on the edge of Dartmoor and a hidden gem. The site is large but doesn't look it. The glamping pods are discrete and secluded and the static vans are likewise not over emphasised. Office is open late and they even have a restaurant. We stayed on a grass pitch with optional hookup. Facilities were very well maintained and the Site Team are very welcoming and friendly. Access is via narrow, but not scarey, tarmac roads but don't follow Google from the A30 south; instead read the directions on their website. Google Maps doesn't seem to care about the width of your vehicle. Our Ducatto SatNav has a Goods Vehicle setting which stops you going on very small routes unless you are stuck but does have the disadvantage of always thinking we are speeding. One final comment. There is a reasonable Vodafone 4G signal !!!!!!!!! WiFi is also available but at a charge but fair enough. They have multiple transmitters around the site to maintain. Some of the hills are very steep on a bike. But then it is Dartmoor!
