⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Best Campsite Ever! We spent the weekend at Riverdart Country Park for Oktoberfest and honestly had the best time! The atmosphere was fantastic – great food made with locally sourced meat (from less than half a mile away!) and a lovely, friendly team who made everyone feel so welcome. The woodland play areas are a real highlight – perfectly maintained, full of adventure, and such a beautiful setting to sit back and watch your children play. Even the grown-ups couldn’t resist the zip lines! The camping pitches are huge, giving you loads of space to relax, and the shower facilities are spotless and well looked after. Everything about the park feels cared for and thoughtfully managed. We’d definitely recommend bringing wetsuits if you plan to get stuck into the Jolly Pirate ship or the jump pools.. Can’t wait to visit again – Riverdart Country Park really is the best campsite we’ve ever stayed at!

By far one of the best camping sites I've been on. The facilities are great with plenty of private rooms. The playgrounds, the outdoor water activities and the BMX track are amazing and mostly free. We did bouldering indoors too. It truly is incredible and we will be back again next year!

Would highly recommend for a day out. We had a fabulous day. All the staff were so fun and helpful. We especially appreciated Gracie's help on the high wires...and the lady who was inn charge of canoes was so fun too (didn't make a note of her name sadly). The extra activities were brilliant.. but the other section in the woods was so much fun. A huge adventure playground with lower wires,, rope swings, zip lines, fitness equipment. We will definitely be back!

Reviewing from a camping perspective, large clean site, good toilet and shower facilities, and they kept on top of the cleaning etc. Loads to do for the kids, great little shop and a nice eatery on site. Plenty of activities included in the price, bike track was a winner and dog was happy with woodland and river walks :) Will happily recommend to friends!

We took our four year old and were there all day without getting bored or fed up. We had a happy exhausted child after. Good outdoors wholesome fun, loads to do. Cafe is expensive but it’s worth it because the food is great and big portions. Sit inside during summer - the wasps aren’t shy. We loved it and will come back again.

The new online booking system is good for peace of mind about parking however I think they should still offer tickets at the gate if there's spaces. We all know phone signal around dartmoor is spotty at best. I do always enjoy a drink and hot meal here after a paddle and the staff in the sawmill are always lovely.

Prices are non realistic. They may say they have all these activities available, but how many do you think you will achieve in a day? especially if you have children in tow? The day rate is not proportionate to what you will achieve. Save your money and go to somewhere where it's obvious what you are getting for your money. i.e an adventure park. Visit a free country park or local park even and pocket £66, the price for a family of five to go on some slides and a fort. Another £63 for 3 to walk high ropes?! REALLY, not even a free return visit offered or an annual pass for that price. P.S if you must go, take food and drinks and go when its warm enough to paddle in the water which is next to the toddlers beach and by the wooden box called a pirate ship. Oh and buy a bike rack to take your bikes so you can use them in between visiting all the other activities they big up.....just to get more for your money.

Amazing camping experience (we had pitch number 14) under a huge tree. As you can wonder around , ride your bikes etc before the park opens and closes to the general public it's unique like the park is your own.... (Note there are freezers available to use to freeze your ice packs which was dead handy). Generous pitch sizes, you can easily fit 2 tents within a pitch. This place is really well maintained throughout, camp site spotless, showers always hot, toilets always clean. Through the main park, no litter anywhere. Staff are all friendly. You have to pay for the additional activities such as canoe, kayak etc. We really recommend the high ropes, canoe and kayak, Large woodland next to the camping area so dogs can be walked off lead. A lot to do on site so never felt bored. Ashburton is a very quick drive from this site, for the supermarket, fish and chips, ice cream parlour.

Just came back from a 5 day camp with my husband and four boys. Wow what a wonderful time we had. The boys had something to do at all times and didn’t have a moment of boredom. All the staff were wonderful, especially Hazel and the chef in the cafe who went out their way to accommodate our extremely fussy eater. The food was wonderful there. Only downside was that the kids had cash pocket money they wanted to spend but everything apart from the arcade was card only. Great shower facilities also, cleaned every day. So much fun to be had without paying extra, although this was our main holiday so we paid for extra activities. Our older boys especially loved the bike park. They rode from 10-4 and said it was the best day ever! Thank you River Dart we will be booking for next year soon!
