We stopped here for 5 nights, what a lovely site. BBQs are permitted. The show bl9ck is basic but clean and looked after. There are some permanent residents who work in Plymouth, these were always very polite and chatty. The warden Jim is a very nice gentleman who always has time if you have any questions or need any help or fancy a chat. We had a lovely stay and would visit again and recommend to anyone else. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The camp warden, Jim, was most accommodating in finding the correct pitch for me, being a single mature female. He offered help and advice with repairs and problems with my vehicle and checked daily to see that I was alright. The facilities are always clean, smell nice and well looked after. A washing machine would be a welcome addition.

No frills campsite with all the facilities you need. Friendly warden. I didn’t have time to venture into the village which is only a 5 minute walk away but did hear the local pub serves great food. I would definitely stay again if o was passing through and needed to stop somewhere on the way

Great campsite to stay at. Quiet and well looked after with a friendly Warden on site. Good facilities that are a bit dated but kept clean so we did not mind at all. Lovely place to stay and highly recommended.

It’s great that as an annual visitor I get to enjoy this fantastic site and it’s constant improvements, the new warden has brought the site on by leaps and bounds with everything in good, safe, clean working order. It is nicely tucked away in a quiet spot yet close to all amenities and beauty spots with fantastic coastal walks all on your doorstep, I’ve found it very family friendly with the kids loving being able to run freely with No through traffic to worry about. If you want a great holiday than it’s the place to be with incredibly good prices and it’s peaceful rustic setting setting the standard for others to follow, no wonder it’s rated so highly by sports activities groups and cub and scout groups. Big shout out and thanks to baz & pat the owners and john the warden, look forward to my return visit

Nice cheap campsite with the friendly staff it's walking distance from the beaches, although it would take a while! There seems to be plenty of space although there's no washing machine, there are good facilities a good amount of shower space especially if you are Female! and the possibility for electric hookups, the kitchen has a microwave only not a cooker, it does have a lot of fridge space. The campsite is on the edge of Plymouth and would take ages to get into a shop. Nearest big food shop is Morrisons about 3 miles and there is a smaller Co-op in Elberton 1.5 miles away. One field looks out across a field that looks like land on a stately home with big trees and the odd sheep here and there. Separated from the campsite by a bramble hedge.

Loved our 6 day stay here, so peaceful and suited mine and the husband's needs perfectly. Back field with trees for shade was an idyllic setting with a beautiful view. Facilities were all that we required, plain and simple no fancy stuff. No club house thank the gods otherwise we wouldn't have stayed. Campsite management team were friendly and outgoing and left us to our own devices, always gave us a hello and friendly wave when we did see them. Permanent residents were friendly always said good morning or hello and made conversation. Look forward to our next stay here. Price was really good too and better than other sites in the vicinity.
